BMW M2 Performance LCI with even more racing optics!

The BMW enthusiast's absolute favorite right now is definitely the BMW M2 in the Competition variant with an engine from the M3 / M4. And it will probably stay that way until the new generation of the M3 or M4 comes onto the market. The M2 has been one of M-GmbH's absolute bestsellers for years and therefore the tuning community is not necessarily small. Of course, many companies have recognized this and therefore offer countless products for further customization for the M2 including the competition model. And JMS Fahrzeugteile GmbH would also like to have a piece of the cake and has now published a very successful vehicle that we can of course not withhold from you. The basis is an LCI BMW M2 Competition (F87) which was given new tuning parts from well-known suppliers for a sporty series look.

new look for the M2 Performance

The result is a two-tone single piece of an M2 Competition that has also technically moved a bit away from the series. The most striking feature is of course the two-tone full film from the team of SchwabenFolia GmbH from Bissingen. It wraps the sporty coupe in an aggressive racing look with an orange front and some black details. At the rear it is the other way around, where the color black dominates. The side section is used for a successful transition between the two silk matt colors and thus achieves an appearance that is at least as spectacular as on Schwaben-M2 from late March. Optimally, the 12 kg 8,5 and 20 × 10 inch Barracuda Racing Wheels from the Ultralight series are perfectly integrated. They also show up in orange and black to match the bicolour look of the body. Incidentally, the wheelset is equipped with Continental Sport Contact 20 slippers with dimensions 6 / 245R30 at the front and 20 / 265R30 at the rear.

KW Variant 3 coilover suspension

And in order for the new wheelset to sit in the wheel arch with millimeter precision, a suitable lowering had to be made. The lowering is achieved with a KW Variant 3 coilover kit, which brings the M2 Competition closer to the asphalt by approx. 30 mm on the front axle and approx. 35 mm at the rear. Incidentally, we do not know any information about an increase in performance, but the RaceChip note on the lower area of ​​the doors suggests that chip tuning has been carried out. Means Race Chip GTS Black an increase in output to 503 PS and 631 NM would be feasible in the plug-and-play process. What we do know, by the way: the engine is staged in a manner appropriate to the species with a sports exhaust system from Eisenmann with a low-frequency sound.
