Kahn Flying Huntsman. 550PS in the Land Rover Defender

What Urban Truck can do we can for a long time, Kahn Tuning seems to have been thinking! Anyone who has always wanted a hardcore version of the original Defender can now choose between the Urban Truck and the Kahn Flying Huntsmann. The exact dates are not yet known. Only that a 6.2 LS3 V8 from GM was installed and that at least 550PS are present. So that everything fits, the engine compartment had to be changed properly, the biggest modification was certainly the extension of the front section by 40cm, and the six-speed automatic transmission, which can be operated using buttons, could not be accommodated without major changes. Of course, the entire braking system and the chassis have also been adapted to the new performance data.

If you want armor in addition to the built-in power, you can also get it from Kahn Design. B4 and B6 armor are available on request. Fine details such as crosshairs in the headlights and even on the sports exhaust round off the conversion. For the price of a Lamborghini Huracan, you can then call a Defender Flying Huntsman your own.

Update

News from 27.03.2017/XNUMX/XNUMX

Kahn Design released the Days again a Land Rover Flying Huntsman 105 Longnose which we can not withhold from you. Again, the entire package was installed, but unlike the vehicle above the Landi is not on whitewall tires. Of course, this Landi was also extended by a hefty 40 cm and here, too, the grown body is based exclusively on the extended front. Should mean everything that comes after the windshield is identical in dimensions to the production vehicle, only the front end has grown significantly. The bodywork is of course handmade and exactly adapted to the vehicle. The changes include new front fenders, including ventilation gills, screw-on fender wraps all around, X-Lander front grille.

Other highlights include the LED headlights, the panoramic sunroof and a new spare wheel cover at the rear. The current Flying Huntsman 105 Longnose is powered by the familiar 2,2-liter TDCI engine, but due to the extremely grown bonnet would also easily find a V12 place. And also a revised chassis has been installed and even the brake system is no longer in production condition. Of course, everything is completely new inside and so the interior was put together by hand individually. Anyone who wants to buy this model can currently buy 89.995 Pounds ($ 112.376) directly from Kahn Design.

Maybe there will soon be an update with information and pictures. If this is the case we will of course also put it online and inform you about it.
