Review - 1.400 PS Ken Block Ford Mustang pikes peak

Ken Block is known for extreme autotuning and lives up to its reputation. Ken Block is a crazy rally and stunt pilot. His Mustang is known through videos on Youtube especially with younger tuning fans. Now the crazy rally and stunt pilot missed his Mustang even more power some years ago and we would like to briefly introduce the HOONICORN V2 Ford Mustang RTR by Ken Block here. Actually, the vehicle already had before enough power. The 6,7 liter naturally aspirated engine "Roush Yates" already had a crazy 850 hp before the performance cure Gymkhana7 impressively demonstrated. But more power was needed. The reason for the performance cure was that Ken Block wanted to shoot a new video and more effort was needed for his ideas. After the performance cure in 2016, the Mustang was used for the first time on Pikes Peak at Climbkhana. Don't you want to wait? Then you can directly "TOYO TIRES | Ken Block's Climbkhana: Pike's Peak Featuring the Hoonicorn V2“Watch it in an impressive 9:20 minutes. Sit back and enjoy!

From the 850 PS have now become 1.400 PSin which the engine was forced to breathe with two Garrett turbochargers. But the two turbochargers alone are not the reason for the 1.400 PS performance; In addition, it is in fact still resorting to a methanol injection. Tuning enthusiast Ken Block appreciates the performance even higher. Car tuning was well worth it, the Hoonicorn V2 was the scariest thing Ken Block ever drove. A blatant look promise the huge exhaust pipes, which ends directly after the compressors, ie in the driver's field of vision. Every time a gas blows, a flame shoots out.

In a video (further down) you can admire the tailpipes and the Mustang. In the video, which is already from the end of 2016, marshmallows are grilled over the tailpipes. Of course, the bonnet had to be machined so that the two new turbochargers and the exhaust pipes could be installed. Corresponding cut-outs have been incorporated into the hood from which the turbos now protrude. The crazy performance in the area of a Bugatti Chiron, of course, leads immediately to the tire spinning, as soon as the gas pedal is caressed only slightly. And that although the monster was equipped with four-wheel drive! The variant 2 - HOONICORN RTR Ford Mustang with + 1.400 PS is a pure tire killer. The previous 850 PS actually already enough to make all four wheels to smoke. The almost twice as strong version does it but once again much faster. Now the Mustang only needs half the time to destroy the tires.
