Nowadays vehicles with 1.000 PS and more almost normal. Actually a frightening fact, but that's the way it is. From a visual point of view, the highlight was clearly the changes to the bodywork bodykit. If you wanted a vehicle that was visually striking, the built-in spoiler, side skirts, aprons and tuner specially made by Koenig even removed the well-known pop-up headlights of the Testarossa. And there were even a whole host of changes to the Testarossa's interior. Koenig installed a new dashboard and different seats and covered the components with fine leather. The most extreme upgrade, however, was the Spider conversion kit. The Testarossa thus became a convertible, with a different rear end, a foldable fabric top and various reinforcements to maintain rigidity. And the performance gradually increased.

Specifically, there were several upgrade packages for the Testarossa. In the course of Level 1 installed two KKK turbos with charge air cooling, a newly tuned engine control unit, forged pistons, heavy-duty cylinder head gaskets, special manifolds and a sports exhaust. The result resulted in 710 hp and thus almost double the power. It got to country road speed in 3,9 seconds and had a top speed of 322 km/h. Further steps to 800 and 900 hp followed.

And if that wasn't enough, you could opt for that Evolution upgrade decide. The components from the previous stages were joined by a revised ECU, larger turbochargers and improved intercoolers as well as a modified oil pump and cooler.
