Low: BMW 3 Series (G21) Touring with KW coilovers!

When it comes to driving dynamics and chassis design, BMW models have been the benchmarks in their class for years. This of course applies to the popular BMW 3 Series Touring. The KW coilovers for the BMW 3 Series Touring (G21) are now available and allow the station wagon to be lowered continuously by 40 - 60 millimeters on both driven axles of the all-wheel-drive model. While with the KW coilover kit variant 1, the pre-set basic setup cannot be further adjusted, this is possible with the KW coilover kits variant 2 and variant 3. These two chassis differ from variant 1 through the use of KW dampers with adjustable multi-valve technology and the resulting harmonic damping.

With their basic factory settings, all KW coilovers ensure an increase in steering precision, directional stability and road holding. If you as a BMW driver want to increase driving dynamics even further and influence the ride comfort, KW has variant 2 (1.599 euros) and variant 3 (2.059 euros) on offer. Variant 2 allows the rebound to be adjusted by 16 clicks in order to influence the handling. "To adjust the rebound, the adjusting wheel on the damper on the front axle is simply attached to the top of the piston rod for adjustment"Says KW Brand Manager Jonas Ehrmann. Variant 3 also has this function. Variant 3 can also be adjusted with the integrated pressure stage wheel on the lower damper housing with twelve clicks in the low-speed pressure stage.

This enables BMW drivers to influence the potential rolling and rolling movements of the body. "In simple terms, the rebound's job is to tie the body to the road, while the compression affects the deflection and supports the chassis“Explains KW Brand Manager Jonas Ehrmann. "In the low-speed speed range we mean the piston rod speeds as they occur, for example, with slow steering movements. High-speed suggestions, on the other hand, are bumps and transverse joints.“The high-speed valves are preconfigured directly when building the damper.

They cannot be set using the setting wheels and support harmonious damping when driving over bumps or uneven road surfaces. Of course, the KW coilover kits variant 1, variant 2 and variant 3 are also available for the BMW 3-series sedan (G20) with rear-wheel drive. The adaptive KW DDC plug & play coilover kits for the BMW 3 Series (G21) Touring and the BMW 3 Series Sedan (G20) are in preparation.
