To the moon and back again: Lamborghini presents the exclusive Space Key, art paired with carbon fiber from space - the brand's entry into the NFT world! Sant'Agata Bolognese, January 18, 2022 - Automobili Lamborghini announces the first NFT (Non-Fungible Token) project in the company's history. Posts on social media related to the topic "To the moon" have already indicated it, now the space artwork called Lamborghini Space Key has been officially unveiled, which will be auctioned shortly. At the heart of this exclusive project, limited to five pieces and created in collaboration with an as yet unnamed artist, is a fragment of state-of-the-art carbon fiber composite material that Lamborghini sent to the International Space Station (ISS) in 2019 as part of a collaborative research project. After its return from space and all tests relevant for research purposes, the carbon fiber composite material is now part of the Space Key. The company thus sets another milestone in its history, which now marks its entry into the NFT world. Each of the five Space Keys is linked to an exclusive, purely digital work of art by the same artist via the QR code on the back of the carbon fiber.
