For some time now, the guys from the Russian Garage54 team have been working on the so-called “Ladzilla”! A crazy, ancient Lada widebody with a mighty seven (7 !!!) liter engine and turbo charger under the hood. Ladzilla is what the crazy Russians named the mobile creation, which may be looking for its kind but will probably never find it, based on the Nissan GT-R, which as a tuned variant is often called Godzilla referred to as. And the name for the beast is guaranteed not to be unfounded. Because the huge engine with an exhaust pipe directly in front of the windshield brings a tremendous amount of torque to the rear wheels, which turns the Lada into a real rear spin. And not even the huge motorsport tires on the respectable aluminum can change that.
"Ladzilla" with 7 liter turbo power!
One gas push is enough and Ladzilla lets smoke rise in the wheel arch. In addition to the insanely huge engine, there is a completely custom-made body with heavy widebody fender flares made of metal all around, there is an oversized, huge hood with power dome and even a hip duck-tail spoiler lip on the tailgate could not be missing. The entire vehicle is in a matt black (Bedliner complete painting) and also successfully refined with bright yellow details, especially in the rear area. The rear view even shows a mighty rear diffuser with huge fins in the style of Godzilla and the square taillights are darkened in deep black. The same also applies to the all-round glazing, which does not allow a view of the interior.
XXL wheel spacers all around
It is also pitch black and we think it is pretty good. That makes the whole vehicle look even more threatening. Especially because of the front, which actually only consists of a radiator grille. Headlights? There is not any! At the end of the post we have embedded the previously published videos about the Ladzilla project, which also show, for example, the installation of the oversized and specially made wheel spacers. Incidentally, Garage54 parked “Ladzilla” in a parking lot of a Russian shopping center after completion, where the unique item naturally attracted a lot of attention. A Porsche or Ferrari couldn't have done better either. Let's see if a few more videos will be published in the next few weeks in the Ladzilla shows what it can do.
