In the Lamborghini fan community, the feedback is legendary Countach to revive with a model based on Aventador, still not without exception positive. However, it is undisputed that the reinterpretation is a real eye-catcher. And that's especially true for what appears to be the world's first modified example. It is a Countach LPI 800-4, which is located in Japan and is extremely unusual. And part of the shrill look is even thanks to Lamborghini itself. Anrky Wheels can write the other part on the flags. But let's get to the paintwork first. Because this actually comes from the plant in Sant'agata bolognese.
2023 Countach LPI800-4
The Countach LPI 800-4 comes in a chameleon-inspired livery (flipflop) that changes color depending on the viewing angle and incidence of light. The main colors that can be seen are orange, red, pink, purple, blue and a distinctive shade of bronze. And then there are the new rims. The X|Series S3-X0 so-called circular pieces are high-gloss gold and definitely match the design of the modern Countach. Behind this is a set of red brake calipers, which in turn were already painted that way at the factory. Incidentally, Lamborghini only builds 112 examples of the Countach LPI 800-4 and since the start of deliveries in mid-2022, a number of completed vehicles have already been handed over to the new owners.
819 PS & 735 Nm torque
The Countach LPI 800-4 has the hybrid drive from the limited Sian FKP 37, meaning it comes with a naturally aspirated 6,5-litre V12 complemented by a 48-volt hybrid system and an electric motor. Expressed in numbers, 819 PS & 735 Nm torque push the Italian forward. It only takes 2,8 seconds to sprint to country road speed and a maximum of 355 km/h is possible.
