Reading time 4 Minutes
Who would have thought that the most radical Huracán would not be called Superleggera but as Lamborghini Huracán performant come! Which "name" gave rise to the short-term Nürburgring record is, however, also an absolute minor matter. The fact is that with the Lamborghini Huracán Performante (2017), the Italians want to present extreme wind strength. The abbreviation Performante means nothing more than "Performance". With a bang the new one ensures that the previous records on the Nürburgring are history. It has just been 5 seconds faster than the much more powerful Porsche 918 Spyder. It was Marco Mapelli who completed the days in the Performante the 20,83 kilometers of the Nordschleife in just 6:52:01 minutes. The record did not last long, however, a few days ago the electric athlete NextEV Nio EP9 that time again !!! 7 !!! Seconds undercut. However, there are more than twice the performance of 1.360 Elektro-PS. Not really a surprise, then.
beefier than the performant
And the Stromer certainly doesn't bring along a sound thunderstorm like the Performante. The Performante's 5,2-liter engine now delivers a hefty 640 hp and 600 Newton meters of torque and combines that with a weight of just 1382 kilograms. After all, that's a whopping 40kg less than its predecessor and thus one horsepower comes to just 2,16 kilos. In acceleration times that means 2,9 seconds for 100 and only 8,9 seconds for 200 things. The top speed is only reached at 325 km / h. The rim label Forgiato Wheels has published a modified Huracan on its website which, at least visually, easily outstrips the performant. The highlights are the mega eye-catching chrome foil, the extreme Vorsteiner Novara aerodynamic body kit and of course the 21 inch Forgiato 2.0 Navaja-ECX alloy wheels in shiny black.
But especially the foiling stands out and at least here in Germany we should officially not ride a meter on our roads (Info). It looks different with the Novara Bodykit, which is officially available with approval for the Huracán. The components consist of a new bumper including a large front spoiler, carbon air outlets in the fenders, massive side skirts with flaps in the rear area, a fixed rear wing and a huge diffuser that makes the Huracán appear much more aggressive. It seems as if the Forgiato 2.0 Navaja-ECX alloy wheels are installed without an additional lowering and optically that's also perfectly fine.
The wheel arches are optimally filled and in conjunction with the massive body kit, the Lamborghini Huracán does not look long-legged so that lowering can be easily dispensed with. At the moment we cannot say whether something has changed in terms of performance and this LP610-4 may even outperform the performance. But even the production model with its 610 hp is definitely anything but slow and especially with this successful look an absolutely unique piece. If we get more information about the modifications, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
