Sant'Agata Bolognese, April 12, 2022 – Automobili Lamborghini presents the Huracán Tecnica: the next generation of the rear-wheel drive V10, developed for drivers who seek perfection in driving pleasure and lifestyle on the road as well as on the track. The Tecnica's appearance embodies the advanced evolution of the Huracán's engineering excellence. It's immediately recognizable as a Huracán innovation, both on the outside and under the hood. Its new look emphasizes improved aerodynamics for better performance, stability and handling, especially on the track. The engine comes from the Huracán STO and delivers 30 hp more than the engine of the Huracán EVO RWD. It delivers 565 Nm of torque at a maximum of 6.500 rpm and improved acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3,2 seconds. The lightweight Tecnica features a recalibrated LDVI system with specific damper settings, direct rear wheel steering and innovative brake cooling improvements. They enable the driver to experience the perfect Huracán for every occasion: The Huracán Tecnica uses its talents to deliver the best of both worlds – an impressively versatile supercar for road and track.

The Tecnica completes the Huracán range and fits perfectly between the RWD and the track-oriented STO. It showcases the Huracán's technology, performance and naturally aspirated V10 engine in a dramatically evolved design.”
Tecnica - Engineering in the soul
The Huracán Tecnica inherits the 5,2-litre powerplant from its stablemate STO, which delivers the same power of 640 hp and 565 Nm of torque at 6.500 rpm. It allows for an exhilarating yet comfortable everyday drive, while providing responsive maximum power and torque on demand. With a dry weight of just 1379 kg, the Tecnica achieves a power-to-weight ratio of 2,15 kg/hp. The increased power is complemented by an improved, sharper engine sound at higher revs. At the same time, the Tecnica offers better acoustic comfort in the cockpit.
At the heart of the Huracán sits the LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) system. It controls every aspect of its dynamic behavior, integrating systems and set-up to deliver perfect driving dynamics via virtual real-time feed-forward control. The rear-wheel drive Tecnica features rear wheel steering with direct steering ratio and torque vectoring. It is paired with a modified Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS) and a chassis setup specific to the Tecnica. Depending on the driving mode selected - STRADA, SPORT or CORSA - each dynamic system of the Tecnica is calibrated in such a way that it can react in a highly differentiated manner to any environment.
In STRADA mode, rear-wheel steering assisted by torque vectoring and P-TCS provides stability and manoeuvrability. Both the engine and transmission are tuned for comfortable everyday driving in every setting. If the SPORT mode is selected, maximum driving pleasure results from the stronger oversteering of the rear-wheel steering and an increased slip threshold of the P-TCS. Meanwhile, torque vectoring guarantees the Tecnica's agility and responsiveness in the rider's hand. The highly responsive powertrain starts as soon as you touch the accelerator pedal, and the seven-speed gearbox ensures a tactile and emotional shift feel.
In CORSA mode, the racing spirit of both car and driver is awakened: the Tecnica responds to the driver's every input with the utmost precision, while the roar of the naturally aspirated Lamborghini engine is a passionate nod to the car's track talents. The powertrain is calibrated to provide optimized racetrack-oriented throttle response and the fastest possible gear changes. The Tecnica demonstrates maximum precision and agility with the LDVI system in particular, including maximum lateral and longitudinal grip through torque vectoring and P-TCS.
Its exceptional performance comes with a new brake cooling management system. It is inspired by Lamborghini's racing experience and delivers consistently better braking performance on both the road and the track. The Tecnica's carbon-ceramic brakes feature specially designed cooling deflectors and caliper ducts that direct airflow into the discs. This maximizes heat dissipation and reduces brake fluid temperature and brake pedal stretch. In addition, the reduction in disc temperatures reduces brake pad consumption.
Aerodynamic inspired design
The Huracán Tecnica has undergone a significant and sophisticated design overhaul. It underscores its dual personality of iconic supercar lifestyle and racetrack-oriented car from every angle. Aerodynamic efficiency and lightweight construction energize each element while maintaining a distinct elegance. The Tecnica clearly differs from its Huracán colleagues.
The revised design gives the Tecnica a more powerful, aggressive stature: a powerful, inward-facing front end with muscular shoulders meets a lightweight full-carbon hood. A new Terzo Millennio black Y-design bumper incorporates an air curtain for the first time on a Huracán. A new front splitter with lower, open louvers directing air through the wheels contributes to improved downforce and cooling. The black at the lower edge of the windscreen reinforces the impression of lightweight construction.
The profile of the car also sets it apart from the Huracán family: at 6,1 cm it is longer than the Huracán EVO with the same height and width, but appears lower and wider. Its silhouette is inspired by the Essenza SCV12's Daylight Opening Line. The black of the front Y-element continues along the side of the vehicle to the side air intakes and emphasizes the dynamic vitality of the vehicle. Meanwhile, the body-colored roof can optionally also be painted black.
The clear, sculptural architecture that characterizes a Lamborghini is also evident in the revised rear end. Rear redesign, including a new vertical glass rear window, improves visibility. At the same time, the new lightweight carbon fiber hood celebrates the V10 heart of the Tecnica. The powerful rear has a new bumper with optimized air intake. The diffuser is painted in body color or optionally black. It includes new hexagonal tailpipes that showcase the improved sound of the Tecnica's powertrain.
The fixed rear wing aesthetically completes the unique lines of the Tecnica. At the same time, its aerodynamic design contributes significantly to improving rear downforce by 35 percent compared to the Huracán EVO RWD. It also ensures that the air resistance does not increase: in fact, the air resistance is even reduced by 20 percent. In this way, it ensures better aerodynamic balance and supports stability when braking and cornering. The Tecnica's underbody has also been tweaked with new tailplanes to improve aerodynamic efficiency. The new 20-inch diamond-cut "Damiso" wheels have a hexagonal design inspired by the Lamborghini Vision GT and are fitted with Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires.
Created for the driver
The versatility of the Huracán Tecnica continues both in its interior and in the extensive personalization options: The Huracán Tecnica delivers what the driver wants - in terms of looks, dynamic setup and driver feedback, connectivity and, above all, in his skills on the road and track. In the interior, the height-adjustable sports seats allow the pilot to immerse themselves in his cockpit. Other options include a lightweight door design, lightweight titanium rear wheel arch and wheel bolts, and harness belts for those who regularly take to the track.
A redesigned, sophisticated user interface has been designed exclusively for the Tecnica. The driver's instrument panel reduces colors and emphasizes legibility in a large new "arc" in front of the pilot. The screen in the center console makes driving fun elements available to the cockpit occupants. This includes the LDVI functions in real-time display as well as all connectivity functions including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa. Inspired by the STO, the interface includes connected telemetry and on-board logs with targets and lap times in conjunction with the UNICA app.
Standard and optional color and trim options cater to both luxury-oriented and sportier specifications. In addition to eight standard exterior paint finishes, more than 200 additional paint finishes are available through the Ad Personam program. A new interior in Alcantara and other exclusive options such as stitching designs and colors as well as the "Tecnica" motif embroidered on the seat upholstery are also available specifically for the Tecnica. Beyond the Tecnica's exclusive options, the Ad Personam department offers customers the opportunity to customize their Huracán Tecnica with virtually unlimited color and equipment options.
