Video: Dragrace - Lamborghini Huracan Vs. 1.000PS Toyota Supra

Reading time 2 Min.

When Toyota launched the MKIV turbo engine (2JZ-GTE) with two CT12B turbochargers, nobody knew that it would become a pseudonym for extreme conversions. Almost no Toyota Supra is out and about with serial production and at least 500PS are State of the art! But with 500 PS it will still be extremely difficult to compete against a brand new Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 or a 911 Turbo S (991.2) Land. You still need a good shovel and that's exactly what this bright green Supra has in itself. The owner pimps the 2JZ to an unbelievable 1.000 HP and has only one small, but not negligible, problem. The Supra is equipped with rear-wheel drive from the factory, which is of course more of an obstacle than an advantage with such a brutal performance. While the Lambo has no problem adequately bringing the performance onto the road, the Supra looks significantly different in the first gears. If the race were to go a distance of a mile or more, the Supra would shoot past the Lambo at such a speed that you would think the Italian is standing! So it's a damn close thing that the Japanese can still win. Of course it's almost your duty 🙂 to watch the video and get your own opinion. As with many videos, this one unfortunately saved extensive technical details about the vehicles.
