This completely restored Lamborghini Miura from 1971 will be on the platform in the coming days at a targeted price of around $ 2,0 million RM / Sotheby's offered. And that completely unpainted single piece is guaranteed to be a unique interpretation of the super sports car of the time. And this Miura, built to US specifications, wears the Chassis number 4761 and was originally delivered to a 19-year-old Iranian student at the University of California at Berkeley. The well-heeled teenager used the athlete for a few years before he was left unrepaired in a hall after an accident.

It then stood in a warehouse in the California Bay Area for almost half a century. It was not until 2019 that the current owner, who is a Lambo enthusiast, bought the classic from the 70s that had been involved in an accident and commissioned a team of experts to buy it extensively restore and rebuild. After that, it was the specialists at Morgan Images who did the Removed gray and white paint at the factory and are responsible for the now completely bare aluminum. The mechanics, which were also partly defective, were repaired and replaced by the Lamborghini Miura specialist Jeff Stephen and since then the V12 has been running first class again. Incidentally, the Miura still has the original inside Interior in blue built in while outside the Pirelli GR70VR15 Cinturato CN73 tires naturally come from the present. The classic has run 16.000 miles (approx. 25.750 km) so far and is now in perfect condition. Whether the auction on August 14 will actually bring in between 1,8 and 2,2 million US dollars remains to be seen.
