Automobili Lamborghini announces the Urus S, the successor to the Urus that created a new niche for super SUVs in the luxury segment. The Urus S offers more performance combined with luxurious versatility and presence to confirm its status as Lamborghini's ultimate lifestyle super SUV. It holds this position together with the new Urus Performante for those looking for maximum sportiness.

Luxurious and versatile performance

The V8 biturbo engine with an output increased to 666 hp corresponds to that of the Urus Performante as the stable mate of the Urus S and has an improved power-to-weight ratio of 3,3 kg per hp. Acceleration has been improved; the Urus S now sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3,5 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 12,5 seconds.

It reaches a top speed of 305 km/h and decelerates from 100 to 0 km/h in just 33,7 metres. The biturbo engine delivers a maximum torque of 850 Nm from just 2300 rpm and up to 6000 rpm. A retuned exhaust system serves as a reminder that the super SUV is a real Lamborghini, with a more distinctive starting sound and a sharper tone in every driving mode.

In the driving modes STRADA, SPORT CORSA and EGO, the chassis of the Urus with adaptive air suspension ensures super sporty driving pleasure, but also gentle handling on the road. Its torque is always available and the body balance always corresponds to the respective requirements thanks to the off-road driving programs: TERRA, NEVE and SABBIA. With the same powertrain calibration as the Urus Performante, the Urus S offers optimal response and performance whenever it's needed. At the same time, the finely tuned chassis settings enable luxurious driving pleasure in everyday life. Impressively versatile with its driving personalities on any road and in any condition, the Urus S is the ultimate lifestyle super SUV.

Design, presence and sovereignty

The Urus S features specific and sophisticated design improvements. They underline its sporty and at the same time luxurious lifestyle personality and emphasize the presence of the super SUV in any environment. A significant expansion of the choice of colors, equipment, wheels, style packages and special details allows customization across the entire spectrum, from understated style to maximum sportiness.

The new design of the front bumper features refined lines. It comes standard with a new stainless steel skid plate painted matt black, which is complemented by the black lines of the radiator grille. Five other style options combine body color, gloss black painted elements, and carbon fiber components in gloss and matte finishes. In this way, particularly individual configurations of the Urus S are possible. The new, particularly light hood made of painted carbon fiber is equipped with matt black air vents. These can be finished in gloss black, body color or with gloss or matte carbon fiber. The optional visible carbon roof gives the new Urus S a sporty elegance.

The new design of the rear bumper gives the Urus S an even more dynamic and elegant appearance. The lower part, painted matt black, comes standard with a new twin tailpipe design in brushed steel. They are also available in matt black, gloss black or, as an ad personam option, gloss chrome. In addition to the standard 21-inch wheel, new wheel options are offered, including 22-inch Nath wheels with a titanium-colored matte or high-sheen finish, while 23-inch Taigete wheels are available in a bronze or high-sheen finish.

Revised range of colors and equipment inside

The interior of the Urus S is presented with a completely revised range of colors and equipment. The new Bicolor Sportivo and Bi-color Sophisticated options both feature the new stitching pattern of the Urus Performante. Bicolor Sportivo offers a more subtle and stylish use of contrasting color. Meanwhile, the black leather interior comes from Bicolor Sophisticated with new contrasting options such as classy new colors Blu Leandro (blue) and Verde Aura (green) as well as tan, cream and brown.

The new color and equipment options offer owners optimal opportunities to design their Urus S according to their lifestyle. They underscore the high-performance background of the Urus S while flaunting understated and timeless luxury. Urus S connectivity options include connected navigation, safety features and various in-vehicle control services. Services can also be managed via smartphone integration. Smartwatch controls, including the virtual car key function, have also been improved. Prices start at EUR 195.538 in the EU.
