Maturo Stradale (MCC) Lancia Delta Integrale Restomod!

Jonny Smith of the Late Brake Show YouTube channel recently presented a revived Lancia Delta Integrale also known as the Restomod Maturo Stradale by MCC (Maturo Competition Cars). The Netherlands-based tuner specializes in rally cars from the 70s, 80s and 90s, but especially Lancia Deltas. Marco Geeratz from Maturo Competition Cars states in the video that the company has been building and perfecting rally cars for a good 25 years. The experience with the Lancia Delta Integrale resulted in the dreamlike one Maturo Stradale. The base model of the Delta is actually a small family car built by Lancia from 1979 to 1994. In contrast, the rally-proven Delta Integrale variant is one of the most impressive hot hatches built in the 80s, dominating the World Rally Championships of the time.

MCC Lancia Delta Integrale

MCC's goal is not just to exactly recreate the deltas of the time, but to improve them. But the biggest challenge was making most of the more than 2.000 parts yourself, as they are no longer produced. The Maturo Stradale is actually a Lancia Delta Integrale rally car with a street car body. It took around 1.500 hours to rebuild an MCC Integrale. The standard Delta Integrale Evoluzione had a 4-cylinder engine with 202 hp and 298 Nm of torque under the hood. The Maturo Stradale, on the other hand, delivers twice the power with 400 hp and 540 Nm of torque thanks to turbocharging. The Restomod project starts with an Integrale 16V donor vehicle and is fitted with a carbon fiber outer skin and a carbon roof. An FIA-approved roll cage is also installed in the interior and the body is welded with over 250-point Domex reinforcement.

Rally car technology but street car looks - Group N 5-speed gearbox, reinforced gears, aluminum housing, lightened flywheel - Group A short block, forged pistons, ARP head and crank bolts, modern injection and ignition, new engine control - LED indicators, red taillights, LED headlights, 70mm stainless steel exhaust, etc.

optical only very subtle changes

Marco is convinced that his Restomod is the best you can get out of a Lancia Delta. With the look of the Maturo Stradale, the team made a point of paying tribute to Lancia Delta designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, so the differences with the Delta Evo I are minimal. Although the prices are not yet known, we do know that Maturo only 10 vehicles want to build. To see how the Maturo Stardale Restomod drives, we recommend watching the video below. It's eye candy!
