Laptime Performance BMW M2 F87 with 420PS & KW suspension

It starts! What I mean? Well, the first tuned BMW M2 F87 vehicles are slowly but surely appearing. While on, released a few months ago, the M2 has so far been more of a cosmetic change like the one on the vehicle Z-Performance or HRE have taken place and we and others Already desperately “hand in hand”, the first really fat tuning variant from KW partner Laptime Performance comes onto the market. The vehicle for Tuningworld-Bodensee at the booth of KW Automotive was presented shows impressively what the coupe called BMW M2-LT is intended for - namely for use on the racetrack. The brand new BMW M suspension flew out and was replaced by a KW Clubsport coilover suspension with adjustable support bearings. Effective immediately, ensure more format in the wheel arches 20 inch OZ Leggera HLT alloy wheels with ultra high performance tires from manufacturer Dunlop in the format 245 front and 265 rear.

The most important but should be a performance increase to whopping 50PS of Mcchip-DKR his which also brings a plus of 115NM with it. Thanks to the increase in performance, the Laptime Performance N55 engine is now almost on par with the S55 engine from the BMW M3 / M4 with, of course, less weight. In order to optimize the suitability for the race track even further, the tuner has installed an adjustable rear wing and a large carbon front splitter and equipped the whole vehicle with a film in BMW 2002 Turbo optics in the well-known BMW Motorsport colors.

After the extensive tuning cure that the M2 was allowed to endure, it is now much more exciting, more individual and also more potent than the production version and should cut an excellent figure, especially on the racetrack. If you are thinking of buying an M2 in the future or already own one, Laptime Performance is definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model.

As already mentioned at the beginning of the article, we have new information for you. The Laptime Performance BMW M2 F87 recently shot over the Nordschleife with Lucian Gavris at the wheel in just 7: 22,60 minutes and thus underpins the extreme performance and shows what more than 400PS in the compact M2 are capable of.
