It has already matured into a classic. The Lamborghini Bat was the brand's first all-wheel drive sports car and at the same time the first vehicle from the Italians to be created under Audi's direction. As the legitimate successor to the iconic Diablo, the Bat right from the start it was difficult to repeat the legendary status of its predecessor. He still doesn't quite succeed in that, but when it comes to tuning, he's far more popular than you might think. The Japanese tuning company just presented Liberty Walk an Teaser for a new body kit for the fighting bull, which has meanwhile become a youngtimer. We would like to present the restyling kit to you.
Rolling fighter jet with character!
Let's start with the front, which has been completely redesigned by the Japanese tuner and now features a larger bumper, a front trunk lid with large fake air intakes and power domes, clearly visible canards on the sides and auxiliary lights. A evil look, which the optics a little direction Fan moves, should not be missing either and thus the headlights look narrower and more aggressive compared to the series, even if they have not been technically changed. In typical Liberty Walk style, the fenders have been widened and the side skirts highlighted.
Next on the roof is a so-called Roof scoop and a gigantic rear wing with roof fin adorns the back of the Italian. Also, for a suitable lowering, there has already been a virtual one Airride installed, which allows the Lambo to stick to the asphalt. There is also a new bumper with a modified diffuser at the rear, which also has modified taillights. Last but not least were the exhaust pipes changed their position so that they now peek out next to the rear license plate. The restyling kit for the Murciélago costs a whopping 48.008 US dollars outside of Japan, but the price should hardly shock real tuning fans.
A V12 naturally aspirated petrol engine drives the car!
We don't know exactly if the kit will fit all engines. In principle, however, we assume that this is the case. The Murciélago is powered by a 2001-liter V2006 petrol engine from 6,2 to 12 and by a 2006-liter V6,5 from 12. Both engines were supercharged and the power ranged from 580 hp to 670 hp in the LP670-4 SV. As a rule, Liberty Walk does not change anything in terms of series performance. Power is always transmitted to all four wheels in the Murciélago via a manual six-speed gearbox or sequential automatic transmission.
Our conclusion:
- An extroverted but beautiful body kit that draws attention on the road. We kudos to Liberty Walk and its boss Wataru Kato, who celebrated his birthday two days ago. Happy Birthday!
