Already with the Youngtimer status The BMW M3 of the E46 series has made it to the legend. 18 years after its premiere, it is the flagship M3 par excellence. 343 PS, 3,2-liter straight-six engine and the fabulous M-differential with the fast SMG and of course rear-wheel drive. This combination made it very difficult for the then Porsche 911 to break away from Munich, which with a Nordschleife lap time of only 8: 22 minutes was a whopping 15 seconds faster than its predecessor E36 M3. The absolute highlight was, of course, the limited CSL, the 360 PS strong lightweight version as the first sports car came as standard on special sports tires and today is considered a successful investment. No CSL but a beautiful M3 in Phoenix Yellow is this copy that was recently published on the website of the rim label HRE and is equipped with a set of HRE 540 wheels.
The beautiful forged rim is simply covered with a polished clear finish, giving it a timeless, elegant sheen. The dimensions are 19 × 9,5 inches at the front and a slightly wider 19 × 10,5 inches at the rear. There was a subtle lowering of the wheelset (Unfortunately details unknown) which ensures that the wheelset sits perfectly in the wheel arch. Other changes include a set of black kidneys and gills, and that may have been it. If we get even more information, there is of course an update for this report.
