We are sure that you do not know that the Lexus GS series has been around since 1991 !? You only know BMW 7 Series, Mercedes S-Class or Audi A8 when it comes to luxury-class vehicles. The LS was introduced in autumn 1989, but initially only in Japan. In the summer of 1990 the first models came to us in Europe / Germany and some of the first years of construction still survive to this day. Back then, as an opponent of the BMW 7 Series, Mercedes S-Class or the Audi 200, the visually more modern designed LS had no chance in almost every respect and the number of vehicles sold remained, at least in Europe, well below the expectations of the Japanese. The LS is currently available in the fourth generation (USF40 / USF41 / UVF45 / UVF6) and positioned above the IS & GS series. But unfortunately, even many years later, it is not really represented more often than its ancestor. And that although the current generation has everything that is necessary to be able to prevail against the German competition. From extremely luxurious equipment on request to high-tech security systems, the LS offers everything that is good and expensive.

And the drive is also really rich, from 381 PS in the LS 460 (until 02/2013) to the 445 PS strong LS 600h (since 02/2013). And if you're not looking at the new one M760Li, a Audi S8 , or Mercedes S65 AMG as the opponent, the LS is at least on a par with its German counterparts. Even in terms of optics, the LS is in no way inferior to a BMW or Mercedes & Audi, and especially as a modified variant, you can be sure to own an extremely elegant and quite rare vehicle. So why not move away from the German uniformity and towards Japanese individuality, which was put on an elegant set of Vossen Wheels CG-207 rims? In connection with a subtle lowering and a new Brembo brake system, this specimen proves that it no longer has to be to lift the LS off the production vehicle without losing the elegant understatement. If we get more information about the modifications to the Lexus LS, there is of course, as always, an update for this report. The best thing is to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.
