Facelift 2024: this is the Lexus LC Ultimate Edition!

The Lexus LC coupe and convertible lineup is getting a thorough refresh for the 2024 model year. The Ultimate Edition, which comes up with exclusive styling details, is introduced as a special highlight. This is available both as a coupé and as a convertible with a V8 engine and is presented in an elegant Hakugin white, which is perfectly accentuated by high-contrast black accents. A key innovation of the Ultimate Edition are the special air inlets on the front bumper, which reduce lift at the front of the vehicle. In the coupé version, a black carbon rear wing also ensures improved aerodynamics.

Lexus LC Ultimate Edition

Inside, the Ultimate Edition boasts a kachi blue hue inspired by the colors of the thread used in samurai armor. The serial number of each vehicle is also placed on an elegant aluminum plate in front of the gear knob. The interior is refined with "Limited Edition" trim strips and Alcantara covers on the doors and center console. Technically, the Ultimate Edition also relies on a newly tuned version of the 5,0-liter vacuum cleaner.

The rear differential has also been recalibrated. And the "regular" LC has also been updated and now comes with a 12,3-inch touchscreen, voice recognition and cloud-based navigation. The center console controls have also been rearranged for a better user experience. Both body variants are presented in a two-tone color scheme of blue and white for a uniform image. There is also a choice of three new forged wheel designs in 20 and 21 inches. With a panoramic camera, an improved Lexus Safety System, as well as a newly tuned brake-by-wire system and 10-speed automatic transmission, the LC 2024 sets new standards in terms of safety and driving comfort.

And the hybrid variant of the LC also gets a higher capacity battery pack, resulting in more power. Production of the revised LC models will start in May 2024, with the first deliveries already taking place in June. However, the production of the Ultimate Edition will not start until September 2024. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
