A Lexus LX 570 is known to be a workhorse in fine threads. Based on the Toyota Land Cruiser V8, the off-road bull in a designer suit digs through almost everywhere, which is why it is very popular not only in the USA, but also in the Arab world, as it is easily suitable for an extensive desert tour. The off-road specialists at Overland expedition recognized, and missed a Lexus LX 570 various off-road modifications, which should help him significantly in difficult terrain. The tuning is not only for show purposes, but serves the purpose of surviving the Rebelle Rally, which leads over 2000 kilometers through Nevada and California within nine days. The Lexus will be driven by Rachelle Croft and Taylor Pawley, who will demand everything from this off-roader.
Rally monsters for the wild
The chassis of the LX has been completely redesigned and received new wishbones and significantly more ground clearance. In addition, performance differentials are now on board at the front and rear. The monster is equipped with 8 × 17-inch EVO Corse DakarZero rims and large-tread Grabber X3 tires in the format LT285 / 70R17. A high-performance brake system from StopTech, which was specially developed for racing, is used for decent deceleration values. The body was also heavily modified and received various adjustments. There is a new lightweight bumper at the front, which is a winch and additional LED light strips. In order to be prepared for river crossings, a TJM-intake snorkel Installed along the passenger side on the A-pillar. There is also a roof rack system on the roof, which contains additional LED lights and several roof boxes. But that's not all, because the rear has also been heavily modified so as not to fall victim to the rigors of the rally. A new, more robust apron and a ladder were installed at the rear, with which one can easily reach the roof. There is also a holder for two spare petrol cans and a full spare wheel on the tailgate. To avoid damage to the underbody, there are also side sill extensions made of steel tubes and skid plates that protect the engine, tank and electronics.
5,7 liter V8 gasoline engine with supercharging
The drive source in the concept car called the Lexus J201 is a 5,7 liter V8 petrol engine, which was pushed to 1900 hp and a brutal 557 Newton meters of maximum torque with the help of a Magnuson TSV745 compressor. The power is transmitted via an automatic transmission, and of course all four wheels are permanently driven. This Lexus LX570 is not intended for normal road traffic, and it is probably also not for sale.
