Uniquely converted and particularly adventurous, a tuner is presenting this radical at the current Overland Expo 2022 Lexus LX600, which is specially ready for off-road life and off-grid living. The LX600 was designed specifically for the Overland Expo West rebuilt and is equipped with a number of new components that should significantly increase the off-road capability. An Off Grid Trailers Pando 2.0 Camper, which is especially suitable for rough terrain, also functions as a trailer. The LX600 was made by the company Mule Expedition Outfitters transformed from the ordinary LX600 into a real off-road weapon. And we think the Pando 2.0 Camper is really cool.
Lexus LX600 from Overland Expo
The Pando 2.0 Camper is no ordinary caravan, but with 8,0 inches (approx. 20 cm) of spring travel and a ground clearance of 24,0 inches (0,61 m) it is ready to tackle even the most difficult terrain. The trailer has integrated all the amenities you need, including a sleeping area that can accommodate a queen-size mattress. Air conditioning, a shower cabin, a hot water system and a rear kitchen have also been integrated. It also has a capacity of up to 33 gallons of fresh water. With a two-zone hob and a "pizza oven" integrated in the caravan, catering is also guaranteed.
The modified LX600 sports numerous upgrades, including an ARB Summit MKII front bumper that houses a variety of details like a Comeup's SOLO Series 12.5 winch, Intensity IQ off-road lights and a Midland Radio Bull Bar antenna. The chassis was upgraded with a 2,5 inch (6,35 cm) lift kit, there were shock absorbers and coil springs from Radflo Remote Reservoir and a set of 17 inch rims from the manufacturer Icon Dynamics rotates in the wheel arches. These are covered with Kenda Klever R/T tires with deep tread.
many more changes to the LX600
In addition to the new front fascia, a CBI Off-Road rear bumper is fitted that supports a full size spare wheel, 5,0 gallon gas can and traction boards. The tailgate also reveals a Dometic CFX3 45 fridge and other goodies, including an emergency power management system. And if you still need an additional place to sleep, you will find it thanks to the Prinsu roof rack in the form of a roof tent with the associated awning. Incidentally, the 3,4-liter V6 under the hood is almost standard, apart from the MagnaFlow Overland Series cat-back sports exhaust system.
