If you are on absolutely spacey optics, you should take a look at the fourth generation of the Lexus RX. The Japanese SUV with up to 2015PS (RX 300) has been available for almost € 350 since 60.000 and, in contrast to X5 & Co., the RX is definitely an eye-catcher. Of course, everyone should decide for themselves whether they are also "beautiful". The Japanese tuner Artisan Spirits is now driving the style of the RX to the extreme because whoever is willing can give the RX a widebody kit that should make even the last passers-by on the roadside turn their heads to the Japanese. The tuner underlines the already very spacey front ex works with a front spoiler. There are also side skirts and a rear diffuser at the rear. The brute 300PS are just kept on the road thanks to a roof and tailgate spoiler and the flared fenders all around now accommodate new 21 inch alloy wheels. Maybe it's just me, but if you look at the RX from the side you could confuse it with a Triceratops or what do you think? 😀
Artisan Spirits and Lexus RX in tuning
The Artisan Spirits team released the fat RX the days and we are of course pleased to be able to show you the pictures of this project. After the extensive tuning cure that the Lexus was allowed to endure, it is optically even more conspicuous, beefier but in my opinion also more bulky than the production version. So if you have been secretly thinking of buying a Lexus RX for a long time or are even a happy owner, Artisan Spirits is certainly an interesting starting point when it comes to making the vehicle even more conspicuous than the factory version.
As far as the further changes to optics or technology are concerned, we have tried to find out the most important details. These are the known changes to the series:
- Artisan Lexus RX Black Label Wide Body Kit (front spoiler for normal version and F-Sport model, side skirts and rear diffuser, roof and tailgate spoiler, fender flares all around) - for all models including 200t, 450h and 350
- 21 inch aluminum rims in black with chrome rim
- 20mm lowering (sport springs, coil springs, sports suspension - more information is not available)
- possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
- possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
