In August, there was a really extreme Audi A5 RS5 in Army Green on Vossen LC-106T Alu's and also the Before A4, a short time before that, wasn't necessarily less noticeable. But if you now believe that you can only install the LC-106 rim on conspicuous vehicles or with extreme surface design, we would like to show you the complete opposite today. The rim label Vossen Wheels, from Miami, posted a black Lexus GS sedan on its website yesterday, which has hardly received any changes apart from the LC-106 wheelset and a significant lowering. The fourth generation of the GS is already ex works (GRL1 / GWL1, since 2012) a very noble and restrained vehicle on the level of an Audi A6 or BMW 5er that does not necessarily want to be modified with expansive aerodynamic parts or crazy foiling. This GS impresses with its completely black look including the all-round tinted windows and of course the new, 20-inch forged wheels from Vossen Wheels.

The dimensions of the rims were chosen in such a way that the outside of the wheel set disappears perfectly into the wheel arch, allowing extreme lowering. Although the dimensions are not exactly known to us, we assume that at least 20 × 10 inches are installed at the rear and approx. 20 × 9,5 inches at the front, this is of course only a cautious estimate. Unfortunately, we did not receive any information about the lowering, but it seems obvious that an Airride air suspension is installed here because the GS is already extremely low on the road. If we get more information about the modifications to the large GS, there is of course, as always, an update for this report. The best thing is to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.

These are the changes to the Lexus GS:

  • Lowering (coilover suspension, airride air suspension - more information is not available)
  • Vossen Wheels LC-106 alloy wheels in silver (forged wheels, approx. 20 inches)
  • darkened / tinted windows all around
  • possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
  • possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
