Years after its launch, the Ferrari 458 Challenge is still an impressive racing car. He became exclusive to the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli developed and based on the 458 Italia. In the rear is the well-known 4,5-liter V8 with 570 hp and a maximum torque of 540 Nm. In the Challenge, Ferrari placed particular emphasis on lightweight construction and aerodynamics in order to achieve optimum performance and razor-sharp handling. Special features include the F1-Trac traction system and the E-Diff3 electronic differential, which ensure perfect grip and driving stability. With the high-performance braking system and the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the 458 Challenge ensures an incomparable driving experience on the racetrack.
Widebody 458 Italia Challenge
And Liberty Walk has ventured into the race-ready 458 and his extreme Silhouette Works body kit installed. The latest version of the kit on the wild 458 Challenge gives the athlete an even more extreme look. During the conversion, all body parts are replaced with new ones made of carbon components, replaced and the changes are very noticeable, especially at the front.
At the front there was a new grille, a large front splitter and aerodynamic canards on the sides of the new apron. The silhouette kit from Liberty Walk also includes a new front flap with large air intakes. Also noticeable are the large air vents on the front fenders, which are similar to those on the 458 Speciale, and the blacked-out Ferrari badge under the license plate holder. But that's not all. Liberty Walk has new carbon-made exterior mirrors mounted, massive door panels and fat side skirts.
Carbon, carbon, carbon at the 458 Italia Challenge
The 458 is also available on a set of bespoke Rims with central lock and apparently also the usual Liberty Airride air suspension installed. This is the only way to explain the severe lowering. And the Silhouette modifications by Liberty Walk are of course continued at the rear. There is an imposing rear spoiler with supports that reach to the middle of the rear apron. There is also a powerful diffuser that not only enhances the look of the vehicle, but also increases downforce. However, it would be a real surprise for us if someone actually beats this vehicle around the race track. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
