It has become a legend: the Honda NSX NA1 / NA2, which was built between 1990 and 2005. A two-seater mid-engine sports car from Honda under the brand name in North America and Hong Kong Acura was on offer. By the end of 2009, there were even various racing versions with factory support from Honda for motorsport. And the NSX was a technical pioneer in many ways when it hit the market. It was largely made of aluminum and had electronic steering assistance and an electronic throttle valve control (drive-by-wire) was on board. The V6 under the hood achieved speeds of up to 8000 rpm on request. and had high quality titanium connecting rods and spark plugs with platinum electrodes. What is taken for granted nowadays and can be bought in a well-stocked tuning shop at the latest was an absolute revolution in a production vehicle.

And the Japanese tuner now has such an NXS (first generation NA1 / 1990–1997) Liberty Walk Performance pre-buttoned. The automobile icon of the 90s naturally received the typical Liberty body kit with screwed-on widenings all around, which of course mean that the body is "destroyed" for all eternity. After all, the wheel arches have to be cut out over a large area and holes for the screw connections are inevitable. But you have to live with it and either you want to have such a conversion or you don't. In any case, we really like the result, especially in combination with the simple black finish. You immediately forget that the collector's item had to be roughly trimmed with a flex under the widenings.

The "LB-Works Honda NSX" is much richer and in addition to the extensions, the other aerodynamic components are also a real eye-catcher. The Japanese got a large front spoiler, there were matching side skirts and we think the significantly higher rear spoiler instead of the factory version is really cool. In addition, there is a matching diffuser underneath the standard apron and integrated into it is a sports exhaust system with blue-burnt tailpipes from FiExhaust on both sides. Typically Liberty, of course, an AirRex Airride lowering is also used and a new multi-part wheel set in the matching king-size format is installed. Based on the paintwork of the NSX, the Advan Racing wheelset is also completely in black, which underlines the successful overall impression.

The kit also fits the NSX with a 3,0 or 3,2 liter V6 engine and can also be used on the Targa body variant. And the cabin has also changed, because here there are, for example, red sport bucket seats from BRIDE and an elegant aluminum gear lever is installed. If you can accept that your rare NSX is no longer the ultimate collector's item after the conversion, the aerodynamic kit from the Japanese tuner Liberty Walk should be a good way to give the slim and filigree Japanese a little more aggressiveness.
