Especially with regard to the topic of tuning, the BMW M3 of the E92 generation was extremely popular right from the start during its construction period. And a decade after the end of production, that hasn't really changed either, because the only M3 with V8 power in history is still very high in the tuning community. The 4,0-liter eight-cylinder in the E9X M3, which rotates up to a dizzying 8.400 rpm, develops 420 PS & 400 Nm of torque and accelerates the coupé from 0 to 100 km/h in approx. 4,6 seconds. The E92 M3 was available with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission or with a six-speed manual transmission. The top speed was an electronically limited 250 km/h and the limited GTS, a variant designed for the racetrack, could even reach up to 305 km/h.

The vehicle from the pictures was published a few days ago by the tuner Liberty Walk and it is clear that the Japanese tuner gave the M3 its characteristic widebody design with extensions including exposed screw connections, a striking front spoiler, rear spoiler and modified rear apron. The exhaust system has also been modified, as the tailpipes are a fair bit larger than those of the series. But that's not all. Because that wasn't the only technical upgrade. In addition, there was a variably adjustable air suspension (airride chassis) for the M3, which is why the Munich looks as if he would belong to a low-rider squad. Multi-spoke 19-inch rims also rotate in the wheel arches. The look is rounded off with an M-inspired foil and the typical Liberty stickers.

the M3 is currently for sale

And Liberty Walk even speaks of chip tuning in combination with the new Fi-Exhaust sports exhaust system to make the V8 even stronger. However, there is no further information on the increase in performance. The vehicle is currently for sale in Japan and appears to be in immaculate condition. In terms of price, the M3 should even “only” cost a surprising 40.000 US dollars, which we consider inexpensive in view of the changes. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
