Premiere - Liberty Walk widebody kit on the Ferrari 488 GTB

Almost two weeks ago, that's it again Tokyo Auto Salon 2017 has closed its doors, now please do not ask us why we do NOT have the officially presented there Ferrari 488 GTB with Liberty Walk Performance widebody kit have reported: s We have dealt extensively with the Rowen International Version employs but the LB performance the successor of the 458 Widebodykit's showed the public somehow passed us by. But rather late than never we have a spectacular video, and found the first pictures of the first converted 488 GTB for you. In the style of the 458er Of course, the body kit is also attached to the 488 with open screw connections. Of course, it also costs a lot to overcome the front fenders and the rear side walls with heavy equipment to be able to put the fender flares on. But if you decide to take this step, you will miss the Italian super sports car, with 670PS-V8 biturbo, an extreme look which is supplemented by further aerodynamic parts in the form of a spoiler lip in the front, approaches for the side skirts, a large diffuser and an unmistakable duck-tail spoiler lip.

The eye-catching body kit only comes into its own when a suitable wheel set and a significant lowering are installed. This is exactly what was done and so, thanks to an AirRex air suspension, the 488 lies so low on the ground that a sheet of paper only fits between the road and the front spoiler with great difficulty. When it comes to extreme conversions then it is in relation to the aluminum rims Forgiato Wheels always a suitable contact person and so a wheel set from Forgiato was installed in lush dimensions on this vehicle. Another highlight is the FI Exhaust sports exhaust system, with flap technology, which ensures an absolutely phenomenal sound in the style of the old F1 racing cars. The engine should also generate a few additional horsepower through the sports exhaust system and the built-in downpipes, but unfortunately, exact information is not yet available. As the official successor to the Liberty 458, the new 488 is more than impressive and, especially in terms of performance, it should be a good bit ahead of it. As far as the optics are concerned, I am of the opinion that you have to look twice to see a difference to a 2. However, this has nothing to do with the body kit but is already the case at the factory since both vehicles are very similar. If we get more information about the modifications to the 458 GTB, there is of course, as always, an update for this report. The best thing is to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.
