Just a few months after Jon Olsson 2017 his 800 PS Mercedes-Benz G500 4 × 4² had presented to the world public tuner Absolute Motors you know Cabriolet made from the monster. And now there has been another upgrade for the G 500 4 × 4² - lovingly christened “Lord Hans”. After the radical camouflage look with ram protection and large winch, as well as the metamorphosis to the beach convertible without windows and roof, "Lord Hans" has now mutated into the Safari-G with a fabric roof and rain tarpaulin. And that in the middle of Monaco! But even in the home of John Olsson it should rain occasionally and the variant without a roof and windows was probably not that practical after all. This time the tuner did DTMobility from Tilburg (Netherlands) accepted the G500 and missed the G-Class again a hood.

The fabric roof with rain cover is removable and makes us the first one chopped Ever see G500 worldwide. Side and rear windows can now be closed if necessary and, apart from a few applications, the G-Class is now completely wrapped in white, based on Olsson's fashion label "C'est Normal". No bumper bars, no luggage rack for the bonnet and the additional lights in front have now disappeared. Instead, there were now sporty bucket seats in the interior with a significantly lower seating position and the 422-liter V4,0 biturbo with 8 hp from the factory now pushes 850 hp to all four wheels thanks to the new turbocharger.

What has remained is the high-quality teak paneling in the interior, which can also be found in the rear area. After the first rumors arose in August of last year that Olsson wants to sell the Mercedes G 500 4 × 4² in beach cruiser style, this should now be refuted for the time being. If we receive timely information on further news on the "Lord Hans SAFARI G-WAGON (G500 4 × 4²)" there is of course an update for this report.
