From the factory, the new Mercedes A-Class of the W177 series is a compact car with lots of sporty genes. Lorinser is therefore of the opinion that the A-Class is "perfect for a special series" and is bringing an edition of 25 vehicles to the start. The limited edition is called the "Green Series". It is based on an A250 which has a set of stylish alloy wheels, a subtle aerodynamics program and a powerful increase in performance. At the front there is a newly designed body attachment in the form of a spoiler lip and a rear apron attachment is also part of the tuning program. The in-house accessory parts are designed by the Lorinser designers to be much more dynamic and give the A-Class an unmistakably sporty look.
Mercedes A-Class Green Series
In our opinion, the highlight is in any case the rear apron attachment, whose use in diffuser optics is particularly successful. It comes with cutouts for four distinctive stainless steel tailpipes, which in turn are coupled to a sports exhaust system. The A250 gets a cool splash of color by means of green painted Lorinser aluminum rims in a dynamic turbine design that listen to the addition RS8. It is a 19-inch alloy wheel that combines maximum stability with extremely low weight. The exact dimensions are 8,5 × 19 inches all around and the Alus are equipped with Continental high-performance tires in the format 225/40 R19.
Performance increase on 258 PS by Lorinser
And as already mentioned, there is also a powerful increase in performance for the A-Class special edition. Using Lorinser software for the control unit, the A250 four-cylinder turbo unit goes up from 165kW / 224PS to an impressive 190kW / 258PS and at the same time the torque increases from 350 NM to 420 Nm. 165 kW (224 PS) on 190 kW (258 PS) and the torque increases from 350 Nm at 1800-4000 RPM to 420 NM at 1900-3900 RPM - Alloy wheel type RS8 in 19 inch (1 part :, Dimensions VA 8,5 x 19 with 225 / 40 R19 and HA 8,5 x 19 with 225 / 40 R19)
- Optionally type RS9: suitable for A 220, A 220 4-Matic, A 250, A 250 4-Matic, AMG A 35 4-Matic, A 160, A 180, 180d and A 200
