Some time ago, the Mercedes tuner Lorinser revive one of the most beautiful rims of the 80s for the 107, 126, 116 and 123 series. The so-called LO rim is legendary and has been brand new since then in the old design. This can even be a legal one contemporary tuning can be made on the classic car. Because with the LO rim there is a risk of losing the H-plates or the H season license plate Not. And that also applies to the W116 / W126 generation S-Class and of course the W123. Even the 190 (W201) and the W124 can be equipped with it. And now Lorinser has installed the LO rim on an R107 from the Lorinser Classic range. This series of the SL was manufactured from 1971 to 1989, making it the longest SL ever built. And with the SLC Coupe there was even an independent coupé variant for 10 years.

The SLC had a longer wheelbase and was extremely luxurious from the factory. And since the 107 series is still very often on our roads, Sportservice Lorinser decided to make the LO retro bike suitable for this model as well. Regardless of whether it is a roadster or a coupé. By the way, the vehicle from the pictures is an elaborately restored 350 SLC with V8 in metallic silver. The full-surface design of the Lorinser LO rim comes into its own here.
