Hardly any other vehicle represents puristic driving pleasure as consistently as the Lotus Elise, A particularly light and agile sports car from 56.300 € to have and with knick knacks in the cockpit as stingy as the curb weight. And just such a specimen has now grabbed an Elise fanatic and actually installed the phenomenal BMW S85 V10 naturally aspirated engine with 40 valves in it. The engine we know from the E60 / E61 M5 and E63 / E64 M6 and it even has some inspiration from the Formula 1 V8 engine (P86) of the then BMW Sauber F1 race car. The engine came as befitting the Hennessey Venom in the middle of the Elise and ensures that the body had to grow by 20 inches in length.
Delayed with a huge BREMBO brake system including slotted and perforated brake discs and red painted calipers. So that the Elise remains on the road, the aerodynamics has been completely redesigned and installed an extensive widebody kit. The visual highlight is, of course, the fixed rear spoiler at the rear of the Elise. As far as we know there was a Porsche gearbox and so the Elise by Monovetti Automotive is an absolute one of a kind from which we will certainly hear a lot.
