Almost exactly 3 months after the preview is it reality - the LUMMA CLR 5S! Lumma Design yesterday presented the first pictures of the Audi SQ5 (type FY) in widebody style. At the same time, it is the first ever refined Audi SUV from Lumma Design. This gives the guys from Winterlingen a real alternative to Widebody Aeropackage by ABT Sportsline in stock and on request, there is also something under the hood. But first to the body kit. It is made of PUR-RIM plastic and has a certificate for registration. It includes a sporty spoiler attachment for the front bumper and of course the successful wheel arch extensions all around. They widen the body by several centimeters on each side and bring the Q5 almost to the size of its big brother the Q7.

For harmonious lines, Lumma also brings cup sill trims and matching paneling for all 4 doors and there were also changes at the rear. Here an approach was developed for the bumper which, including the chic tailpipe trim with LUMMA logo, conveys significantly more aggressiveness. In addition, an optional spoiler lip for the tailgate and a nameplate including the serial number. And as already mentioned, something has also happened under the hood. The standard 354 PS & 500 NM of the VW EA839 six-cylinder engine turns into a whopping 400 PS and thus you are on the level of a lifted RS3. Not bad. And as an alternative to the 5-twin-spoke rims in the virtual preview, there was the LUMMA CLR LN 1 wheel set in 22 inches for the presentation vehicle, as we did on it Range Rover Velar from Lumma were allowed to marvel.

The LN 1 is a rim that was specially developed for SUVs and can withstand particularly high loads (up to 850 kg). It is installed on the nardo-gray SQ5 in matt black with a red pinstripe and a matching hub cap, but there is also a variant with a front-polished surface on request. There was also a subtle lowering (further details unfortunately unknown) and a black Audi emblem on the front and back. In our opinion, the LUMMA CLR 5S is extremely successful and harmonious and will likely meet with great interest and approval.
