Just over a year ago that's it Lumma Design virtual preview of an extensive widebody kit for the Range Rover Velar. Then yesterday it was time and it was in Winterlingen resident company presented the first pictures of a real LUMMA CLR GT as no. 001. And the result corresponds exactly to what we have been made palatable with the help of the virtual drawings. The Velar is widened all around but everything looks as if it had never been designed by Land Rover otherwise. As far as we know the body kit is limited so that potential buyers should contact the tuner in a timely manner if they are interested in a conversion.

At that time, Lumma mentioned that you want to make the body kit made of plastic or carbon and we assume in this vehicle that it is the variant made of plastic because all components are painted in body color. The absolute highlight of the conversion are, of course, the large widenings on the wheel arches around the total of the Velar 10 cm grow in width. Front there is a front spoiler including new grid inserts and a front splitter and the LUMMA sports front grille is new. The bonnet now carries air vents and a new logo on the left and right, rounding off the mighty appearance from the front. The side part is underlined by matching side sills with Cupleisten and also at the rear has done a lot.

Here there was on the tailgate a three-piece spoiler lip and unmistakable is of course the huge rear diffuser. It comes with in-house stainless steel sports exhaust system with 4 tube look and rounds off the newly designed rear in combination with the Lumma CLR GT logo. A highlight of this specimen is definitely also the LUMMA wheel set of the type CLR LN1 in the dimensions 12 × 22 inch which fits perfectly in black matte velvet red accents to the red body kit. Incidentally, the wheel set is equipped with tires of the type Michelin Pilot Super Sport in the dimensions 305 / 35-22 all around. Unfortunately, no information is currently available for suspension, but only thanks to this is the dynamic and sporty appearance of the Velar so consistently successful.

And small changes have been made in the interior and so comes the number 001 with an exclusive steering wheel that is ergonomically shaped and convinced with contrasting colored piping. There are also in-house floor mats, an optional trunk mat and noble Alupedale. And unfortunately, there are currently no information regarding an increase in performance but already last year Lumma has pointed out for the three-liter V6 gasoline with 380 PS or 240 PS to provide something. These are the changes to the Range Rover Velar:

  • Lumma Design wide plastic body kit (fender flares front and rear, per side about 50 mm wider, front spoiler neck with Cupspoilerschwert, side skirt with Cupleisten, rear skirt with Cupleiste and exhaust covers)
  • Interior applications (sports steering wheel (based on original steering wheel in exchange), aluminum set with non-slip rubber elements, mats with real leather edging and LUMMA logo, boot mat with leather lining and LUMMA logo)
  • Lettering at the front and at the rear
  • Lowering (sports springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilover suspension - more information is not available)
  • Lumma Design stainless steel sports exhaust system (4-pipe)
  • Wheelset 12 × 22 inch with LUMMA CLR LN 1 black matte with red accents and Michelin Pilot Super Sport 305 / 35 / 22 tires
  • possibly installed: Performance spacer set

News from 10.07.2018

And again we have discovered a LUMMA CLR GT based on the Range Rover Velar (P380). The basis was a Velar First Edition in addition to the body kit and a LUMMA exclusive CLR GT in 23 inch. There was also a LUMMA sports rear muffler (only for export) for a distinctive Sooundkulisse. Have fun with the new pictures!

Update

News from 13.08.2018

Yesterday there was another Range Rover Velar D180 with Lumma CLR GT body kit on the website of Lumma Design UK. The vehicle is currently for sale and comes in Fuji white. In addition to the extensive body kit and in-house tailpipes, there was also a lowering by means of sport springs (-30 mm) and the Lumma CLR rims. Also installed is an increase in performance by means of chip tuning by additional 60 PS & 80 NM torque and some changes in the interior. Have fun with the new pictures!
