The Mazda 3 MPS and 6 MPS are factory equipped with 260 hp and a displacement of 2,3 liters. However, this is not sufficient for many performance-hungry users. That's why it has TurboZentrum developed a turbo upgrade for the vehicles, which has a maximum output of 360 PS allows. And even CX-7 drivers can look forward to the increase in performance, since the same engine is also installed in the large SUV. In contrast to STAGE 1 optimization, where a compressor wheel is often selected that is currently available in the range and/or is particularly large, for Stage 2 optimization the TurboZentrum relies on a compressor wheel that has been milled to measure. The relationship to the exhaust side, and thus the resulting performance, is taken into account here in order to achieve the maximum in performance development and response.
Increased performance through turbo upgrade
The advantage of this method is not only a significantly higher top performance, but also a reduced load on the turbocharger. This can promote the standard air mass even at a lower charger speed and can even be tuned with a focus on durability. The compressor housing is milled to the required size, whereby the gap size is also optimized. Furthermore, all Stage 2 upgrades will be fitted with reinforced bearings to make the turbocharger more durable and to withstand the increase in performance over the long term. MPS Customers have the option of sending in their used turbocharger for optimization or ordering a new one directly. The turbochargers are available directly from the TurboZentrum online shop.
