MANHART Defender DP 500 based on Defender P400 AWD!

It's been about a year since the German tuner Manhart Performance the material moisture meter shows you the Defender DP 500 introduced based on Defender P400 AWD, with long, five-door body version (110). You just wanted to build from it 10 vehicles and now there is another completed example that has even more details than the one that was still being planned at the time Sports exhaust system, owns. And of course we don't want to withhold the next DP 500 from you. The new model convinces with code names right from the factory L663 with its performance and powerful engines. But as a DP 500 it's a whole different number. Here, too, the basis is the current Defender 110 with a long wheelbase and five-door body type P400 AWD. One was given to the in-line six-cylinder turbo petrol engine with a displacement of three liters under the hood Chip tuning software for the engine control unit and thus the performance increases from 400 PS & 550 Nm to tight 512 PS & 710 Nm

The engine announces itself acoustically by means of MANHART stainless steel exhaust system to speak, whose tailpipes optionally - like on the photo vehicle – are coated with carbon or ceramic-coated. And if you want, you can also use the standard one Bremsanlage replaced by a system from MANHART. A brake upgrade is also available on request. On this vehicle, however, the brake system is still standard and only with red painted calipers including Manhart Lettering Mistake. There have been a lot of changes, inside and out. Let's start with the body. Painted glossy black, MANHART installs various add-on parts such as fender flares or a new one radiator grill and of course the well-known one should not be missing MANHART decal set, which this time is executed relatively cautiously. There was also a set of huge ones to match the vehicle Rims. Namely, light gray MANHART Forged Line rounds in 12×24 inch format tires in the dimensions 295/30ZR24.

However, you should only be on paved, tarmac roads with the 24-incher. Should it be off-road, then the MANHART Concave One wheel in the 10,5×22 inch format with 295/40ZR22 tires is more advisable. Such a wheel is an example at the Tailgate of the defender. The vehicle from the pictures also got one Lowering by 30 millimeters using new coupling rods, which ensure that the standard air suspension lowers the off-roader a little. And last but not least is even a new one Interior with new leather and Alcantara equipment installed in the two-tone concept in black and silver-grey. PS: Also a black one Bull bar with additional lights is in the assortment. Below is a picture of it. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report.
