Preview: New BMW 2 Series G42 as Manhart MH2 450!

Actually comes the new BMW 2 Series Coupé - fortunately WITHOUT Front-wheel drive and transverse engine is manufacturedon the German market in January 2022! Nevertheless, there is already a tuning variant. At least one virtual... And that comes from the Manhart Performance team. The tuner based in Wuppertal, the performance coupe wants even more Miss driving fun and characteristics and add a shovel here and there. And a first idea of ​​what that might look like has now been posted on the Manhart Performance Facebook page. The M240i xDrive the G42 series is transformed into Manhart MH2 450 and thus generates a lot of anticipation for the sharpened version of the G42. And typically Manhart, the designation "MH2 450" gives a clear outlook performance increase.

In fact, one plans approx. 450 PS and at the same time Manhart announces that they can add the torque of 500 650 Newton meter wants to raise. This puts the current M2 Competition in the shade and, moreover, the one planned for 2023 M2G87 lose out. But that of course this will also be equipped with an upgrade from Manhart at some point, that should be as certain as the proverbial "Amen in the Church"! And in addition to the technology, optical tuning parts also show up in the rendering like a modified one aerodynamics (Front spoiler - possibly from M Performance, diffuser with LED light, spoiler lip for the tailgate). A new exhaust system is also integrated in the carbon diffuser, each with two round tailpipes with carbon sheathing in the style of the current M models.

And virtually, the people of Wuppertal already have their own in-house 20 inch Concave One rims with typical gold decor, which by the way shows all around the vehicle as well as a subtle Lowering, installed. In combination with the black paintwork and the Manhart badges on the front and back, confusion is impossible. We are curious when the first real Manhart MH2 450 vehicle will be presented.
