723 PS & 870 NM: MANHART MH5 700 - BMW M5 F90

Now he is done! Almost 1 year ago the tuner Manhart Performance the new MH5 700 based on the BMW M5 F90 has announced. And now the steam hammer is finished. This is the tradition tuner AC Schnitzer the next to look at a completely redesigned F90. The team from Wuppertal is bringing a vehicle to the start that manages the balancing act between simple elegance and maximum performance. The highlight of the conversion is of course the modified 4,4-liter S63 biturbo V8 of the MH5 700. Using an additional MHtronik ECU (Chip Tuning Box) it goes from 600 PS & 750 NM up to impressive 723 PS & 870 NM torque.

Although the tuner currently does not announce any official acceleration values, the extra power should ensure that the sprint to 100 km / h is completed in just 3 - 3,1 seconds (Series - Competition 3,3 s). The sprint from 100 to 200 km / h is achieved by the MANHART MH5 700 in just 5,9 seconds (Specification Manhart) and is thus below the level of an Audi R8 V10 plus or Lamborghini Huracan. Crazy ... The spectacle is underpinned by a soundscape that lets you completely forget the standard sports exhaust system of the M5. Especially when switching operations under full load, what comes out of the MANHART stainless steel exhaust system with chic carbon tailpipes is enormous.

On request, it is also much quieter because by pressing a button can be changed at any time in the Comfort mode. And visually, of course, something has done. The highlight is certainly the 21-inch MANHART Concave One wheel set in satin matt black. Thanks to 20 mm lowering by means of KW coil springs, it sits perfectly in the wheel arch. And as previously announced, Manhart has also created a carbon exterior. Front lip, rear spoiler and diffuser come in noble full carbon and underline the M5 in just the right places. The smallest component is the spoiler lip on the tailgate which of course also consists of full carbon. In addition to the optical properties of the components but also have very practical features.

Namely, they improve the aerodynamic properties of the MH5. The body of the presentation vehicle still got the familiar matt gold racing stripes and details on the front and rear. Inside there are floor mats with MANHART lettering and the obligatory MANHART logo on the steering wheel. A carbon bonnet with GTR air slots is currently still in the works. If we have information about their presentation shortly, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
