Manhart MHX3 - a 635 PS BMW X3 M Competition (F97)

As one of the first tuners ever, the team of Manhart Performance the brand new 2019 BMW X3 M (G01 / F97) pre-buttoned. And YouTuber Shmee has already had the pleasure of driving the top model of the X3 M series modified by Manhart Performance. The basis is even a 510 PS strong competition model, which compared to the normal X3 M brings exactly 30 HP in addition. After the transformation to the "MHX3 600", the S58 3,0-liter in-line six-cylinder with two turbochargers now produces a huge 635 hp and the maximum torque increases from 600 to 785 NM. The increase in performance is achieved - as far as we know - by means of chip tuning, sports exhaust system but without changes to the turbochargers. This means that the compact SUV has more steam than an M5 F90 Competition, which is also impressively reflected in an acceleration time of less than 4 seconds to 100 km / h. And of course the acceleration orgy is also supported acoustically.

Manhart installs an in-house stainless steel sports exhaust system that ends in four 100-millimeter ceramic tailpipes at the rear. And like already with the virtual images beginning 2019 announced that the X3 will also be placed on the well-known Manhart Concave-One forged wheels in 22-inch format. This time, a variant in matt black is installed on the X3 F97, which, like the rest of the vehicle, is provided with the Manhart-typical golden accents on the rim edge. And so that the wheel set sits perfectly in the wheel arch and the X3 becomes even more sporty, the M Performance suspension is still included H&R lowering springs equipped. They lower the front and rear axles of the X30 by approx. 3 mm.

Incidentally, the aforementioned foiling can still be found on the aprons, over the entire vehicle and also on the sides of the X3. The fenders as well as the tailgate carry the MHX3 600 batch to give a little indication of what has moved under the hood. And as announced at the beginning of the year, all modifications are also available for the technically identical X4 M SUV crossover coupe (G02 / F98). We are excited to see when Manhart Performance will present a converted MHX4 600. If we receive information on further changes in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report.
