Manhart RQ 800 based on the Audi RS Q8 with 818 PS!

It can hardly be doubted that an Audi RS Q8 is already a brutal high-performance car in SUV guise even in series production. With full 600 hp and 800 Newton meters of torque the super SUV is a challenge to the competition from Stuttgart and Munich. But that is of course not enough for performance-spoiled customers, so that the Wuppertal tuner Manhart has now been called on to the scene and the Audi sports SUV has (again) buttoned up. It is well known that you can never have enough power, and even in times of downsizing and electrification of the automobile, there are still vehicles that do not believe in these trends and openly show the finger to every Tesla or Renault Zoe. The Manhart RQ 800that was recently unveiled.

Monster for nonconformists

We will explain the vehicle to you in more detail. It's hard to believe, but the RQ 800 is in fact the little brother of the RQ 900 that was presented some time ago and about which we can of course tell you have also reported. The optical highlights include the in-house Classic Line rims in 10,5 × 24-inch format, which shine in silk-matt black and come with a red ring as well as 295/30 ZR24 and 355/25 ZR24 Slippers come along.

The wheels have Y-spokes, which underline the sporty character of the vehicle. On the other hand, the red and black look, which deviates a little from the classic Manhart color scheme in black and gold, is rather unusual. Red frieze as well as Manhart lettering signal to the environment that this is not an ordinary Audi RS Q8, but a very special one, refined by Manhart. With regard to the Landing gear The standard air suspension has been lowered slightly and there are two different options available to potential customers.

Either one Software tuning of the air suspension, or the use of adjustable Coupling Rodsto achieve more depth. The vehicle shown has the first option. Manhart also offers a Brake upgrade for the RQ 800, which can be configured individually.

There are hardly any modifications in the interior!

The vehicle shown has remained the series in the interior. Except for special Manhart floor mats, which are in the passengers' footwell, there were no modifications. On special customer requests regarding the Interiors the Wuppertal tuner is always available, and for a surcharge, hardly any special request remains unfulfilled.

818 hp for a hallelujah!

The Four-liter V8 biturbo gasoline engine thanks to the RS Q8 became newer turbocharger and further modifications to insane 818 PS and an incredible 1.050 Newton meters maximum torque. In addition to the turbo upgrade, there was also a Manhart intercooler, a Carbon-sucking from Eventuri as well as a ECU remapping the way under the hood of the monster SUV. On the exhaust side, the RQ 800 has one Manhart stainless steel exhaust system with flap function, which ends at the rear in four Manhart tailpipes, each 100 mm in diameter.

down pipes with 200-cell catalysts are also offered, but have no TÜV approvalwhich is why they are only suitable for export. The driving performance of the Manhart RS Q8 should be breathtaking, despite the 2,4-tonne curb weight, because the production Audi RS Q8 already sprints to 100 km / h in just four seconds. However, we have no information about the top speed or the exact sprint values before.

Our Conclusion to the Audi RS Q8 from Manhart:

A vehicle that has been subtly refined by Manhart standards and that looks elegant and sporty at the same time. If you can get excited about a 2,4-ton SUV, the Manhart RQ 800 should represent the ultimate in performance, dynamics and prestige.
