Tuning Monster - Audi RS Q8 SUV as Manhart RQ 900!

To LUMMA design, Prior Design and ABT Sportsline now another German tuner has thought about the Audi RS Q8 made. Namely the team from Manhart Performance GmbH & Co. KG from Wuppertal. Curtain up for that Manhart RQ 900! Manhart has revised the RS Q8 as the top model of the coupé-like SUV with a series output of 600 hp and 800 Nm torque thanks to the four-liter V8 with biturbo charging, both visually and technically. The 3,8 seconds to 100 km / h despite an empty weight of 2,4 tons did not seem to be enough and the optional maximum of 305 km / h was too little for Manhart. Because the undoubtedly impressive key figures fade in the light of the key data of the Manhart RQ 900. As the name suggests, Manhart brings incredible 900 HP to the SUV flagship from Ingolstadt.

At the same time, the maximum torque increases to 1.080 Nm and the acceleration values ​​are likely to correct significantly downwards. However, Manhart does not yet have any official acceleration values ​​for the RQ 900. However, the RS Q8 as RQ 900 should complete the sprint at country speed in about 3 seconds and the top speed will probably be beyond 320 km / h. But how does the tuner achieve a whopping 50 percent increase in performance? This was made possible by the larger turbocharger, there was a modified cooling system and, of course, in-house chip tuning. But that's not all! Other components on the eight-cylinder are a Manhart exhaust system from Turbo, but currently only has a rear silencer with TÜV approval for Germany. Middle silencers and the specially adapted downpipes are therefore only intended for export.

The eight-speed automatic transmission and the chassis are of course adapted to the brutal increase in performance. With a modified chassis, Manhart not only brings more sportiness to the RQ 900, but also a lowering by three centimeters. And of course there are the extensive changes to the body. Manhart donated a powerful widebody body kit to the RS Q8, the various exterior components of which are made of carbon. This applies, for example, to the new bonnet with air opening, the fender flares all around, the aggressive front spoiler lip, the powerful rear diffuser as well as the side skirts and the roof edge spoiler. Only at second glance is there a small second spoiler below the rear window and, as always, Manhart also has the typical Manhart decorative foils at the start on request. And of course the in-house 23-inch Manhart Concave One wheel set on the RS Q8 should not be missing.

So that the widened wheel arches are filled appropriately, the tuner installs them in the 11 x 23 inch (ET25) format on the front axle and 12 × 23 inch (ET20) at the rear! The options Gunmetal Gray Diamond or Satin Black are available as a finish. And finally, the interior can also be completely refined and individualized. On request, there is MANHART leather upholstery with specially selected accents, ranging from hand-made floor mats to refined steering wheels. Incidentally, the RQ 900 is limited to 10 vehicles and will cost an impressive 280.000 euros. We do not currently have any more details about the RQ 900.
