The Manhart Performance GmbH and Co. KG from Wuppertal has made the Range Rover Velar. Especially the noble and extremely potent "SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition - RRVSVADE for short" (Air suspension, ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, hill descent aid, price approx. 111.000 euros) with factory 550 PS and impressive 680 NM torque. Even in series production, the British SUV can accelerate to 4,5 km / h in just 100 seconds and continue driving up to a maximum of 274 km / h without any noteworthy interruptions. One should always bear in mind that the key data belong to an SUV and not to a thoroughbred athlete. For Manhart that was apparently still too little, so that one decided to upgrade to the impressive 600 PS and 750 Nm torque using in-house chip tuning software.

0-100 km / h in 4,3 seconds

This reduces the sprint at country speed by 2 tenths to 4,3 seconds and the top speed climbs to 290 km / h. This makes the Velar a serious opponent for the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. And if you want, you can even underline the additional performance with an in-house sports exhaust system with flap control, which MANHART Performance even offers with sports manifolds including 200-cell HJS catalysts and 4 black tailpipes. As a complete system, however, only for export and therefore unfortunately without TÜV approval. However, the 23-inch MANHART Performance turbine design wheelset looks very different Hawke out. The is of course approved and fills the wheel arches all around with powerful 10,5 x 23 inches including 285 / 35ZR23 high-performance tires from Continental. On the photo vehicle, the wheelset shows up with a shiny black surface and a subtle golden contrast stripe on the rim flange.

The strip is based on the optional MANHART performance decor set that was glued on the right and left side skirts. However, there were no changes to the chassis, the brake system or the elegant interior. Optionally, Manhart enables individual solutions according to customer requirements at any time, as we have already seen on many vehicles from the tuner in Wuppertal. We currently have no further details on the Range Rover Velar as MANHART Velar SV 600. If we receive timely information on further changes not previously mentioned, there is of course an update for this report.
