What does it take to make the 2007 Maserati GranTurismo even fancier and sportier? Actually not much because even after almost 10 years, the Italian coupe is still an absolute eye-catcher and, in terms of design, is miles ahead of many modern vehicles. The DRM Motorworx tuning team from North Carolina in the USA seems to see the whole thing relatively similar and so the current project in terms of optics and performance was rather carefully applied. In order not to distort the line of the GT, the tuner dispensed with spoilers and various add-on parts and just gave the GT a matt black body. In addition, the car was discreetly lowered using H&R springs and the standard aluminum rims protrude a bit from the wheel arch thanks to DRM spacers. The V8 petrol engine is now acoustically noticeable by means of the QuickSilver Exhausts Sport System sports exhaust system including Fabspeed Motorsport X-Pipe and, at the latest, when the front with tinted headlights appears in the rear-view mirror, great care is required.

DRM Motorworx - Maserati GranTurismo in Matte Black

The TEam of DRM Motorworx

The team from DRM Motorworx has released the bad black GT the days and we are of course happy to show you the pictures. After the subtle tuning cure that the Maserati GranTurismo was allowed to endure, it is now visually significantly changed, much more individual and dynamic than the production version, without being exaggerated or even chubby. So if you have been secretly thinking of buying a Maserati GranTurismo for a long time, or if you are already a happy owner, DRM Motorworx is certainly an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model. And for all those who are not necessarily based in the USA, the vehicle may serve as a tuning template for the local tuning partner.

As far as the further changes to optics or technology are concerned, we have tried to find out the most important details. As always, we have listed what came out of this in a small summary for you in the lower part of the article.
