Maserati Grecale Trofeo - a breath of fresh air!

The Grecale is the latest litter from Maserati. And we already know the lights and the grill of the Grecale Trofeo, because they show up with the design of the MC20. Otherwise, the shape is typical SUV, because it's just not a sports car. At first glance it looks like a Ford Puma at the front and a Jaguar at the rear, but these comparisons actually do the Trofeo wrong. Like the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, it is based on Stellantis' Giorgio platform, but has nevertheless been given a unique look. And according to the press release, the light graphic at the rear should be similar to that of the 3200 GT. Optical sportiness is achieved with a carbon diffuser and four-pipe system, and the lowered front hood gives the Grecale Trofeo a very sporty look for SUVs. And if you look under the hood, you will discover the highlight that gives the car its name Trofeo first earned: Den 3-liter V6 with twin turbo charging and the innovative ones known from Formula 1 prechamber ignition.

No dry sump lubrication!

Surely you andOur coverage of the MC20 in 202 and immediately thinks of the Nettuono V6, but the Grecale engine has little to do with that. Although many details such as bore and stroke have been adopted in the engine, the Grecale is different from the MC20 not With a Dry sump lubrication fitted. But he has one for it cylinder deactivation. This means that the right-hand cylinder bank can be virtually shut down in the partial-load range. Although the oil circuit had to be changed for this, the basic ingredients of the Nettuno remain the same. full 530 PS bring the Grecale Trofeo in just 3,8 seconds on Tempo 100 and provide for one Top speed of 285 km / h. And the chassis of the Trofeo has a standard variable Air suspension with roll stabilization. As a result, the ground clearance can be varied by up to ten centimeters, depending on the driving mode. In off-road mode, 60 millimeters are added compared to normal mode, in the Corsa setting you have to subtract 40 millimeters. In the small models GT (with 300 hp and R4 mild hybrid) and the Modena (330 hp, R4 mild hybrid) the Air suspension with roll stabilization optional.

Simple elegance and solid workmanship in the interior!

Inside, the Trofeo impresses with its simple elegance and solid workmanship. The 12,3 inch (approx. 31 cm in the diagonal) large display can be easily operated with touch surfaces. Below that is an 8,8-inch (approx. 22 cm in the diagonal) large second display. In addition to the touch function, the Voice control a role.
