The diversity in automobile construction is still there, even though more and more unprofitable models are falling victim to the red pencil of the automobile companies. Regardless of whether you are looking for a limousine, an SUV or a sports car, you will still find what you are looking for with most car brands when it comes to a wide range of models. This is also true of Mazda, of course, because the Japanese automobile manufacturer, which often goes very unconventional when it comes to technology, has not only sedans, small cars and SUV models, but also the long-running name MX-5 in program. The cult roadster, which started as an homage to British roadsters from bygone times and has now become an icon itself, has become an indispensable part of the roads and a guarantee of driving pleasure.

JDM tuning at its best.

And this example is a Mazda MX-5 Roadster, which dates from 1999 and was extensively modified by the owner Jesus Salazar to make US roads unsafe. First on the Miata, as the MX-5 is officially called in the USA, the Advan Racing RG2 rims in 16-inch format, which with their white star optics should not only cause enthusiasm among Mazda fans.

On the rims were Falken tires in the format 205/40 R16 pulled up in front, which listen to the somewhat bulky model name Azenis RT660. On the other hand, some 205/45 R16 format are installed on the rear axle. This joins in coiloverto bring the already extremely flat flounder even closer to the asphalt. Furthermore were still Mazdaspeed headlights and Garage Vary headlight covers built in, which provide a sportier look. This is joined by a front bumper from the NB2 generation of the MX-5, one Shorin front spoiler lip, wider side skirts with side flaps as well as one rear diffuser in S2000 style. The most striking feature, however, is the large one Spirit R RX7 wing, which immediately signals to the driver behind that this is not a conventional MX-5.

In addition, various modifications were made to the chassis, which ensure that the already greedy corner robber drives even sportier. Last but not least, a stove pipe thick can of course also be used Exhaust pipe not missing, because otherwise it would be JDM concept only half done.

The cockpit is trimmed for racing.

You can find your way around the interior immediately and take a seat in one Bride Zieg IV racing bucket seat, and reaches for one Nardi sports steering wheel with a diameter of 330 mm. There was also a Nismo gear knob installed from the OEM accessories shelf from Nissan.

Turbo kit ensures a lot of pressure!

In order to get more power out of the roadster, a TSE turbo kit installed, which includes a BorgWarner turbocharger and 700cc injectors from Deatschwerks included. One provides the necessary cooling S14 intercooler , and a Compressor as well as a Oil Cooler by Koyo. Furthermore, a delivers ME221 ECU remapping even more power while a special SPEC Stage IV clutch , and a Kaaz limited-slip differential ensure that the power is brought to the road. Unfortunately, we don't know anything about the exact performance data, but it should be sufficient to have a lot of fun with the little speedster.
