With a length of 5,58 meters and a weight of 2,6 tons, the heavy four-door Bentley Mulsanne sedan is based on the brand's typical design language. The body is partly made of aluminum, but the total weight is still more than impressive. However, the whole thing is not a problem for the 6,75-liter eight-cylinder gasoline engine, which generates a generous 377 kW (512 hp) and 1020 Nm of torque via double turbocharging and sends it to all 4 wheels. That from it by means of chip tuning also gladly 606PS & 1123Nm The team from Mcchip-Dkr showed us already impressively. But what's next is a completely different league because the company wants a Bentley Mulsanne to one Coupe remodel. Should the project succeed and be completed, it should probably be one of the biggest coupes on the market and even surpass the Rolls-Royce Wraith.

But to make 4 doors only 2, of course, extremely extensive body work is necessary. Mcchip simulates the whole before the computer to play it safe course. After the vehicle has been completely dismantled, a surface scan can be performed using the 3D scanning arm. Once done, the scan data is triangulated to get an optimal basis for the simulation of the planned coupe form. Of course, this project will take a few weeks to come but we are already looking forward to the result and of course keep you up to date as soon as there is news. And again new pictures have appeared that slowly but surely show where the journey should go. As is well known, a huge 5,40 meter coupé is currently missing from Bentley's model list and it doesn't look like Bentley will think about bringing one anytime soon. The Mcchip-DKR "Mulsanne-Coupé" takes on this task and shows itself with perfectly adapted C-pillars for the unmistakable coupé shape and rearward-positioned B-pillars. The doors are elongated and, like the roof, made of carbon.

The bumpers from the facelift are already installed and new side panels are already in place. But Mcchip-DKR is of course known for its increased performance and so the six and three-quarters liter V8 has to be modified. From the factory there is a whopping 512 PS and 1020 Newton meters of torque which were raised to 1 PS and 600 NM by means of Stage 1200 software intervention. We are really looking forward to the next pictures and the imminent completion of the project.
