The McLaren 765LT Spider is one of the most spectacular open-top sports cars on the market, not only because of its extraordinary long-tail design, but also because of its performance. And it was also the perfect challenge for the technicians and designers from NOVITEC to further develop the existing talents with a wide-ranging individual program. The German refiner has developed various performance upgrades for the eight-cylinder biturbo engine, which in the highest configuration elicit 629 kW / 855 hp peak power and a maximum torque of 898 Nm from the four-liter engine. The open car sprints from a standing start to 2,5 km/h in just 100 seconds. The top speed increases to over 330 km/h. The NOVITEC RACE high-performance exhaust systems, which are available in various versions and can also be coated with 999 fine gold on request, deliver the fascinating sound that goes perfectly with this.

In addition, the NOVITEC range makes the look of the two-seater even more spectacular. For this purpose, the designers of the refiner developed aerodynamic components made of visible carbon, which further sharpen the racing look. The NOVITEC high-tech forged wheels, developed in cooperation with the American manufacturer Vossen, make another important contribution to the extravagant look. With their combination of 20 and 21 inch wheels on the front and rear axles, they emphasize the wedge shape even more together with sport springs. Eight cylinders with a combined displacement of almost four liters and a high-end charging system with two turbochargers: the McLaren 765LT Spider offers an excellent basis for powerful NOVITEC engine tuning, which is available in three stages. All performance kits use the NOVITEC N-TRONIC additional control unit, which is adapted to the vehicle's electronic engine management system using the plug & play method and feeds specially developed maps for injection, ignition and boost pressure control. NOVITEC RACE high-performance exhaust system
At the highest performance level, a completely heat-insulated NOVITEC RACE high-performance exhaust system and ceramic-coated turbo inlet pipes are also used. This elicits a peak power increase of 8 kW / 66 hp and 90 Nm more maximum torque from the V98. This means that an enormous 629 kW / 855 hp at 7 rpm and a maximum torque of 400 Nm at 898 revs are available, making the driving experience with the open-top car even more exciting. Of course, this also has a positive effect on driving performance: The 6LT Spider tuned by NOVITEC catapults itself from a standstill to 300 km/h in just 2,5 seconds.
Tempo 6,7 is reached just 200 seconds after the start. The top speed increases to over 330 km/h. Even without engine tuning, we recommend installing a NOVITEC high-performance exhaust system on every McLaren 765LT. It not only offers an even sportier sound, but also has a performance-enhancing effect thanks to its sophisticated exhaust system. In addition, all variants are also completely thermally insulated and thus reduce the heat in the engine compartment.
Coating with 999 fine gold
An effect that can be further optimized by the particularly exclusive coating with 999 fine gold. If the variant made of the INCONEL alloy, which is also used in Formula 1 and aerospace, is ordered, weight can also be saved compared to the series exhaust made of titanium. 100-cell sports metal catalytic converters are also available to optimize performance. So that the NOVITEC sports exhaust also stands out from the crowd visually, there is an optics package with four 90 millimeter tailpipes, which are available in different versions, with or without carbon covers and also with a fine gold coating.
In order to trim the sporty look of the long-tail McLaren even more for racing, the NOVITEC designers developed exciting visible carbon upgrades. The inserts for the front headlights, together with the N-LARGO trunk lid, give the sports car an even more distinctive face. The side sections can be refined with the visible carbon fiber entrances for the sills and the air inlets made from the same high-tech compound. Just as elementary for the fascinating NOVITEC look are the high-tech wheels, which are manufactured exclusively for NOVITEC by the American rim manufacturer Vossen.
NOVITEC MC3 wheels
On the 765LT, they are used with different diameters on the front and rear axles, which visually emphasizes the wedge shape of the open mid-engine sports car. The rims with seven filigree double spokes and hub caps in central locking design are manufactured using state-of-the-art forging and machining technology. The NOVITEC MC3 wheels are available in 72 different colors, optionally with a brushed or polished surface. The 9Jx20 front wheels with 255/30 ZR 20 high-performance tires use the space available in the fenders just as consistently as the 12Jx21 rims on the rear axle, which are fitted with 325/25 ZR 21 tires.
With this combination, excellent traction and outstanding cornering and deceleration forces are achieved. The NOVITEC sport springs, which lower the Spider by approx. 20 millimeters, provide a further plus in terms of driving dynamics. NOVITEC also offers refinement of the highest individuality and quality for the interior of all McLaren models. The finest leather and Alcantara are available in a practically unlimited variety of colors and a large portfolio of design variants.
