wheelsandmore from Baesweiler near Aachen is still the first address in the industry when it comes to the refinement of all sports cars. The tuner has now taken on the McLaren 765 LT and carried out a beautiful and technical upgrade. The McLaren 765 LT comes with fine-tuned aerodynamics and a 765 hp 4,0-liter twin-turbo V8. The dry weight of just 1229 kilograms was achieved, among other things, by a 40 percent lighter titanium exhaust system (compared to steel), thinner glass and polycarbonate brake discs.

Let's face it: a longtail is incomparable, the howl of the titanium exhaust system, the stiffer engine mounts... - it's the perfect fusion of agility and engineering. The newly wrapped rear wing is a masterpiece and, of course, is made of carbon fiber. McLaren will be delivering 765 individually numbered vehicles to customer order - but let's take a closer look at the vehicle featured here!

The wheelwork

For all customers for whom exclusivity is the top priority, the tuner from Baesweiler offers three forged wheel models from its wheel range. When it comes to the wheel connection, wheelsandmore gives the customer the choice between a real central locking adapter system (patented and with TÜV / EP3643513) or WITH a conventional bolt connection:

Underdock central locking system:

  • 9×20 inches with 255/30 R20 on the front axle and 12×20 inches with 325/30 R20 high-performance tires on the rear axle / price: €19.700 including VAT.
  • FIWE + FORK 3-part: 9×20 inches with 255/30 R20 on the front axle and 12×21 inches with 325/25 R21 brand tires, FIWE and FORK: €14.530 including VAT.

Landing gear: In order to improve the driving behavior and to present the changed wheel and tire combination visually more impressively, wheelsandmore offers 20 mm lowering springs for €800 including VAT. Even with regard to the extremely powerful twin-turbo V765 with 800 PS & 8 Nm maximum torque, Sebastian Dohmen and his team went even further.

Performance levels/engine tuning

An updated version of the 4,0-liter twin-turbo V8 from the 720S is responsible for the enormous production output. That's almost too much for the street. But in principle, this McLaren 765 LT now belongs on the racetrack after the performance cure at wheelsandmore. Acceleration is now more direct and snappy - the cold start roar is downright animalistic!

  • Stage1:
    – €6.999 including VAT
    - Performance increase from 765 hp and 800 Nm to approx. 876 hp and 922 Nm.
    – Change measures: software optimization

But driving is a thousand times more spectacular than it reads. Let the hair flow and the baseball caps fly. And when the man next to you at the traffic light looks confused at your central locking rim and then stares perplexed up at the passenger compartment... only then do you realize again that you have done everything right - heart, what more could you want? Manufacturing at the highest technical level in connection with the finest materials, that is the quality standard of wheelsandmore Managing Director Sebastian Dohmen. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
