It's not 30 minutes ago, here we have you Artisan Spirits Toyota CH-R presented with a discreet body kit. And now comes the next cracker from Japan and this time from the tuner Kuhl-racing. Again the base vehicle is the new Toyota CH-R and again there was a body kit for the Japanese. But this time everything looks a lot fatter because Kuhl-racing apparently wanted a really brutal look. The Japanese tuner already had one at the end of 2016 first preview presented, and the implementation that has now taken place is almost identical to the virtual images. At the front there was a completely new bumper with huge air intakes and an integrated front spoiler. New side skirts are also part of the body kit and they continue the lines of the front spoiler to the newly modeled rear bumper.
The rear bumper was extended by a huge approach in diffuser optics and makes the rear again behave brawnier than that of the production vehicle. In addition, there was a LED rear fog light which is centrally located and sits behind black glass. Unlike Artisan Spirits got the Kuhl racing version but no additional rear spoiler what we consider to be quite a good decision. But the most extreme thing about the Kuhl-racing CH-R is definitely the brutal suspension. It provides, especially on the rear axle, for an extremely negative camber that allows little more than 50% contact surface of the tires. Certainly, the extreme lowering is probably only intended for the presentation vehicle because in normal life, the CH-R should hardly go with this extreme lowering.
Unfortunately, we do not know how the lowering was realized at the moment, but we assume that an Airride air suspension was installed and the Japanese can be raised to a "healthy" level at any time. There's not much more to say about the spacey Japanese at the moment, so we'll leave it with the pictures. If we get more information about the modifications, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report. - Lowering (coilover suspension, airride air suspension - more information is not available)
- darkened / tinted rear windows
- possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
- possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
