25 years - it will soon be an unbelievable 25 years since BMW brought the M3 based on the E36 onto the market, which with each new generation still sets the absolute benchmark in its class. On the engine side, although motorized by far not as potent, we would like to present you a 1996 BMW 318is with Pandem rocketbunny tra-kyoto body kit which, at least in terms of optics, clearly surpasses the M3. As early as December 2015 we have berichtet that the Japanese tuner for the BMW E36 and also for the E46 wants to bring a Widebodykit on the market that missed the middle class coupe a completely new look. While the virtual images already seemed extreme, the real model is quite sure. The elaborate body kit puff the 3er so that the current M4 could certainly hide behind it. The magazine driving line had the pleasure to photograph the 3 Series from Norihito Watanabe from Sapporo in Japan and of course we would like to present the vehicle to you. After the tuning cure that the tame 318er with standard 140PS was allowed to endure, it is now much more brutal, sportier and much more aggressive than the elegant series version.
If you are thinking of buying a BMW E36 3 Series in the future or already own one, the Pandem rocketbunny tra-kyoto body kit is definitely an interesting option when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model in the extreme. As for the changes made to the optics or the technology, we have already learned the first details. As usual, we have listed what we know below in a summary. If you discover any further changes that we haven't listed, just use the comment box and let us know!
