Can you still remember the C63 AMG from Piper Motorsport recall? The tuner had with a mega effort a Mercedes 190E body on a C63 AMG (W204) chassis set and significantly increased the performance. The vehicle received a lot of popularity and also our fan base on Facebook showed with well over 25.000 Likesthat Piper Motorsport had created a vehicle that cannot be topped that quickly. At least we thought ... Because now the team from F7lthy At the last SEMA Auto Show, a Mercedes 190 E 2.5-16V Evo II presented that actually surpasses that of Piper Motorsport. But don't worry, no real “2.5-16V Evo II” was converted here either, but a normal W 201 that saw the light of day as a US version. Fortunately, the collector's items, some of which cost more than € 300.000 and were only available in 502 copies, have the courage to do so so far no one ran.
more aggressive than a "real" DTM EVO
Some things should just stay the way they are and this is definitely the case with a 1990 Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16V Evo II. But back to the single piece of "F7lthy" the project "Evil Evo" traveled to LA. The one-of-a-kind single piece painted in a fine matt gray is so transformed that you can hardly recognize the original base. The Stuttgarter received a typical Breitbau body kit in the Evo II style (Fender widening all around, Sacco boards on the doors, etc.) and black Fifteen52 Turbomac aluminum rims that are equipped with Toyo R888R semislicks are now turning in the wheel arches. The front is adorned with a huge splinter that is in no way inferior to that of the DTM variant from Roland Asch & Co. and there was a black radiator grille and brand new clear glass main headlights.
timeless look and powerful steam
And another highlight is the completely rugged hood and of course the huge rear view with the fixed rear wing and the wrong diffuser, This is even a bit more powerful compared to the version of the DTM vehicle and the same applies to the engine. While the 2,5-liter four-cylinder with Cosworth cylinder head, four-valve technology and Motronic at that time in the DTM Derivative 272 kW (370 hp) at 9.500 rpm. When it came to the “Evil Evo” project, it was not even attempted with a Mercedes engine. Instead, there is a Texas Speed LS3 BiTurbo under the hood Motorswap Its Precision turbocharger enables an unbelievable 1.600 hp if required. Builder "F7lthy" has decided to do so.only“To send just over 1.000 hp to the wheels.
unique cabin with lots of leather and carbon
And the cabin of the 190 E is absolutely breathtaking and unique. She is largely vacated and also shows with lots of red leather, sporty bucket seats including sports straps and a full carbon sports steering wheel that flattened below. In addition, plenty of useful equipment in the form of a digital display, there was a racing shifter and also a specially fitted Roll cage is built in. That the "Evil Evo" still has a handcrafted sports exhaust system (in front in the fenders), got a huge brake system or a fully adjustable sports suspension, goes without saying.
